My fiancé and I went in there looking for a bedroom set. Found one we loved and made our offer, which was accepted. We paid full amount in cash and even drove it home ourselves. No delivery. We opened the first piece which was the chest of drawers and notice the corners and edges were bent and scuffed. The screws were stripped and we were unable to screw the nobs in properly. After noticing one mark after the other we called our salesmen (this is all within the same day). We told him we were disappointed in the condition of our furniture. He acted like we were a huge burden, his tone was ugly and told us to bring it back. At that time I got on the phone and sternly, but very respectively told him how this really wasn't convenient for us, especially when we had already driven from New Braunfels to San Marcos and back, paid $2k in cash, and delivered and unloaded these heavy pieces ourselves to just load it back up. He said he would get with service to send someone out and call us back. 2 days later I had to call back as I had not heard from him or anyone there. They said they'd send men out between specific times I had requested. Becca even said she'd call before sending them out. WELL, she didn't call, nor did they come at the times I requested. So we rescheduled again. Same thing happened. TWICE. BY the THIRD time the delivery people finally came looked at the dress and said it would be replaced. While both the repairman and delivery boys were nice. I was NOT pleased with the service we received from our salesman or the service lady. While she was nice, she never followed through like she said. While I do love our furniture, I most likely will not buy from them again. And if I do, I will demand to look at my set before it’s loaded up in my truck next time. I suggest the same.

Two weeks ago I started a search for a recliner and I was fortunate enough to get Karen's help in exploring the store for the recliners that met my criteria. She was incredibly knowledgeable and NOT high pressure--the perfect salesperson in my book. She also saved me tons of time since she knew which items met my criteria without having to look at labels.I intended to spend more time researching, but due to a back injury, I returned to the store after only a week with a pressing need for a recliner. Unfortunately, Karen was on vacation to visit her grandchildren, but when I told Pedro my situation, he let me spend hours testing the recliners to see which one was most comfortable in my situation. Not only that, when I found the right one, he negotiated a wonderful deal for me and made sure I got that recliner in my home that very same night (I had come in to the store in LATE afternoon!). I got the best night of sleep I'd had in three days because of the efforts of these good folks. I cannot say enough to praise the excellent service I received at North Carolina Furniture Direct. They'll be seeing me and my friends and family again soon.

Best furniture store in Texas!! My wife and I loved shopping at this store. Our salesperson, Maria, was full of energy and extremely professional and efficient. She called in one of the managers, Judge, and he was friendly and gave us the best deal in town on our beautiful sofa, loveseat, and bedroom set. We will be back before Xmas for a new dining table...wouldn't shop anywhere else!
