I went to two other Subaru dealers, but Capitol Subaru earned my business and respect. The staff, especially Al, was friendly and professional. I wasn't even greeted at the Stevens Creek location! At the Seaside location, I was shown the cup holder and the light up mirror and asked if I knew about eye sight. Al at Capitol Subaru made me feel comfortable. He asked and answered questions. Here we are almost two months later and he still calls to ask how I like my car! He also helped me track down my license plates. Capitol and Al get an A+

Do not go here and if you do don't talk to Pete - he is your typical car salesman scammer using the "bait and switch" and then trying to get out of the fact that he is committing a crime of fraud associated with affirmative misrepresentation of the price and vehicle with a supposed technicality. An agreement - not just a "yes. I can do that." but a "sounds good." is still considered an agreement. So if the customer returns after informing you of their max price and you give them ANY form of verification (sounds good is included) and then try to get a contract out on them without informing them that you can't meet that top price but are continuing with a previous price that was NOT agreed upon by the other party based on the top price provided. YOU ARE COMMITTING FRAUD! I will never do business with a company that promotes this kind of behavior and allows their workers to commit crimes just to get a sale. With that being said, I'm providing a warning to those who may be inexperienced in buying vehicles or checking contracts and might be tricked by such a dishonest dealer. Look elsewhere and make sure you look closely, no one deserves to be taken advantage of and a dealer should not be committing crimes to fatten their pocket and taking your hard earned money to do so.

First off I want to tell you that I am a very skeptical car buyer when it comes to buying from a dealer. I just don't like the negotiation process and the unknowns associated with it.My experience with Momentum Chevrolet was extremely positive. I was first contacted by Vanessa Lobo who did an excellent job in making me feel comfortable on the whole purchase process. James Gallagher explain me all the features of the Chevy Volt, the rebates and the other benefits associated with and EV. He was very patient and answered all my queries to to my complete satisfaction. Helmand Anwary helped me get the best rebates I was eligible for and further enhanced my buying experience.Last but not the least, Christian Gonzales walked me thru all the vehicle features, made sure he answered all my queries and helped me keep my old car in a safe location. He again called me after a couple of days to check if I had any further questions and inquire how I was doing.In todays commercial world when everyone is focussed on meeting quarterly/yearly targets, the personal touch is lost. I have to say that my experience with Momentum Chevrolet was out of the world. They have changed my opinion about buying a car from a dealer. I will be going to them soon to purchase a Chevy Bolt.Way to go MC, you are the best! See you soon!

I visited the dealership to purchase a part. When I found out the part cost of $500 I thought it might be worth having the service group diagnose the problem. I was sent to talk to Eric Cornelius that seemed to be available. While walking towards his desk he picked up the phone. I stood in front of him for several minutes and he kept making phone calls letting customers know their car was due for service. He didn't even look at me. After his third phone call I said: "dude, do you see me standing here?" He replied yes, and I'm making phone calls. All other advisors were busy with customers. After hearing his answer I asked another advisor to get the Service Manager. Hearing this Eric looked at me and starting to laugh. The Service Manager was busy but the other advisor, seeing what was going on, apologized and told me he will help me as soon as he was done helping his customer. In the end, the Service Manger took his time coming out so I just left. I'm not going back.

I was refered to this dealership trough the Costco auto program. Took me 2 hours to get to San Jose. When I got to the dealership I was greeted by Angelo, a sales representative that is involved with the Costco auto program. Angelo did an excellent job taking care of my needs, my questions and every single step in the way to purchase my truck. First, we notice that the truck's keys and fob were missing, Angelo got someone to rekey and reprogram the truck. When I was ready to sign the documents, a sales manager call Roger approached to me in the most rude and disrespectful way saying that he won't sell me the truck, that he won't solve any of the issues we found with the truck and that the truck was going to be sold "as is" even though the truck was a "certified pre-owned vehicle" and comes with some guaranties. I don't know all the sales guys there but I just know I will not buy any vehicle from "Roger"

My car buying experience at Momentum left a bad taste in my mouth. The purchasing part was fine, with Tony and Al being helpful and friendly. I wanted to pay cash and said I could come back the next day with the money, but Tony offered a special deal to purchase on the spot. I put down $2500 on a credit card and signed financing papers for the balance, with the agreement that I could pay the balance within the next three days and they'd tear up the financing docs. Well, I arranged a wire transfer from my bank to Momentum's that arrived within 48 hours. I followed up by phone to verify that the wire was successful and to ask for an email saying the car was paid in full. I called and left a dozen messages for Tony, Al, Steve in finance, and anybody else I could think of, but nobody returned my calls. How hard would that have been? It took me four days to get a one-line message saying the wire transfer was completed, with no mention that the car was paid in full. What's that about? I can't imagine the whole dealership was too busy to return my call(s).

I hate shopping for new cars. When walking on a lot you feel like meat in a Piranha tank. NOT here!! You are welcomed but it is not overwhelming. I already had contact with Michael Peek as I searched online for something fuel efficient and asked for someone to contact me. We stopped by on Friday night and he helped us out. We came to look at the 2014 Chevy Cruze but we were undecided so He set us up with John Altringer. He brought out cars that were in OUR range and not theirs. He was super friendly and you felt like you already knew him. Michael is business savvy and works #s but it is in your benefit and what will work for you. John is super cool and brings his personal experience to help you make a decision. They say they are a family owned business there and you can feel that. We had a few hiccups because it was Memorial Day weekend and crazy busy but they made up for it 3x over. David Hayes the General Sales Manager hooked us up to compensate. The Finance Director who did our contract( im sorry but cant remember her name) even went the extra mile and made sure we had the best deal we could get. 5* all the way. We bought a 2014 Chevy Cruze. Our focus was fuel efficient and they really hooked us up. Thanks guys for making this experience painless! We LOVE our car!!!!

Depending on the part and its overall quality, a good amount of money can be saved by purchasing aftermarket parts versus OEM parts. But aftermarket parts that are low in price might also be lower in quality and could do more harm than good to your car, or they may need to be replaced more frequently than a more expensive counterpart. This could lead to saving some money in the short term, but spending more than anticipated in the long term.
The type of tires being purchased is the most significant determinant of their price. SUV tires are more costly than average car tires. And high-performance tires are more costly than economy grade tires. On average, standard tires for an average-sized vehicle are around $100 per tire. Standard tires for an SUV are around $150 and pick-up truck tires are about $200 on average. Some dealers offer discounts if purchasing more than one tire.
Car inspections typically take about an hour. However the wait time can be longer depending on how busy the shop is. Call ahead for an appointment to avoid long wait times.
Depending on the manufacturer, certain aftermarket parts can be just as reliable as Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts. But one item within a vehicle, like oil filters for instance, could have multiple manufacturers and there could be inconsistencies in quality among them.
