Jeffery D Krupp DDS MS
Ok.... Here is the deal. I absolutely do not like dentists. In fact im usually the kind of guy that will run them off the road at all costs if I can. BUT.... This guy that calls himself Jeffrey Krupp is AWESOME!!!! I had an old filling crack on a back molar.. I guess it happened a while back because all the coca cola and sweets decided to have a party in my tooth. The worst thing ever when my dentist told me I needed a ROOT CANAL!!! OH NOOOOOOOOO! I was terrified beyond belief! I didnt sleep the 3 days before my appt. I was a complete wreck!!! When I walked in to the office I thought I was gonna pass out! Their crew took care of me! Did everything possible by the book to make me comfortable and at ease.. They told me to bring my ipod. Good advice. They made sure I was not feeling any pain! In fact Dr Krupp said " You are a sensitive BEAST with one PISSED off tooth" lol.. I think my fear of pain was more than the actual pain, becuase I didnt feel a thing. He is AWESOME.. I hope to god I never have to go through anything like this ever again, but if I do.. I will use Dr Krupp!!! Its a guarantee!!!
Tips & Advices
During a root canal therapy session, an endodontist removes inflamed or infected dental pulp, cleans the inside of the tooth, then fills the area with a rubber-like substance.
Patients who have not been sedated are usually fine to drive after a root canal procedure. Still, they should check with their endodontist just to be safe. Patients that have been sedated should have a friend or family member pick them up.
Endodontic therapy is the treatment of inflamed or infected soft tissue inside the tooth known as the pulp.
No, patients do not need a referral to see an endodontist.
Root canal costs vary depending on the number of roots the tooth has. A procedure on the front row, where teeth usually have only one root, costs around $700 per tooth. A procedure on the molars, which can have up to three roots, costs around $900.
