Movers On Demand Inc
My Fiance and I moved from soma to Palo alto and booked with Movers On Demand Inc. I had to change the moving dates twice and they were incredibly patient with me over this. Not only were they understanding, but i got no attitude - just understanding. On the day of the move, they arrived to our very narrow lane and the truck couldn't get up the lane and this was our fault. We briefly looked at the van size & dimension they sent and assumed they would be fine. They weren't. Carlos, Anthony C & Agustin not only didn't turn around like we expected, they simply parked a block away and proceeded to move our stuff. They were amazing! and so understandingWe felt terrible!Anyway given the hindrances they still finished earlier than we thought. Everything arrived in perfect conditionI cant recommend these guys enough. i hope to never move again but if i have to - ill always use Movers On Demand Inc.Thanks guys again!

Puma Moving Company
We wanted a long distance of moving of our residence’s commodities. We were very afraid as to whom to hire because we did not want anything to be damaged. We wanted to be sure that the trucks would not be affected by rain or heat. Long distance moving is always risky in this matter. But then one of our family members advised us to go for Puma Moving. They assured us that their trucks were best and their services were even better. When we saw them work, we were sure that our pick was the best. The technicians are experienced and competent. They were so good that we could not imagine anyone to do a better job than them. I am not surprised to see the kind of reviews that they have received here. We agree with everyone. They are highly recommended by us also. We would like to thank them for the excellent services provided.

Puma Moving Company
I have been using the services of Puma Movers since 3 years. They have moved my house 5 times and I believe there is no one who can do a better job than them. They have always excelled expectations and have maintained the standard of their work. I do not have any kind of complaints. They are always in time. There was this one time when they were going to be late by 15 minutes and their executive had informed the delay to me beforehand.Since I am a repeat customer, the company gives me special discounts and makes sure that I am always satisfied with their services.I have always appreciated the friendliness and competence of the movers of the company and now I trust them blindfolded. My belongings have never been harmed and I haven’t ever lost anything.I don’t know how they manage to do a brilliant job every time.

Green Pacific Van Lines
How a company responds to a crisis speaks to the character of the leadership and those who chose to work under his/her employ. I had made arrangements to have my belongings moved but at the last minute my plans changed, the employment contract fell threw ....I failed to notify the moving company that I would NOT be placing my stuff in storage per the terms of agreement but rather I now needed to find an apartment, as I had given notice to move out. When Pacific Green VanLines showed up to collect my belongings they were so accomodating. I explained the situation, they worked with me, instead of giving me a hard time about my mistake, they agreed to move me into my new apartment across town. Whew, what a relief, these guys were amazing, top notch, professionals.!

Green Pacific Van Lines
Green Pacific Van Lines moved us from San Francisco to St Louis. They did an excellent job. The pre-move packing went very smoothly. The load went very well. They arrived in St Louis on time and helped us with unpacking, particularly our kitchen items. Nothing was damaged. On time and high quality with a commitment to ensuring that a customer's possessions are given great care.

Puma Moving Company
As a single mother of two, I was very worried when my company asked me to relocate to another city. But Puma Moving solved all my problems. Their staff is highly trained and they handled all my possessions so efficiently that I never had to lift a finger. They are so helpful and friendly that setting up house in a new city was certainly no problem at all. Thank you, Puma!!

Top Gun Irish Moving & Storage
I booked Top Gun for our move from San Francisco to San Rafael. Every moving company I've ever used has gone way longer and over estimate. Charlie recommended to do the move over two days to make it easier on the fam and kids. Boy did that work out great, the second day we were all moved in by nap time. Would definitely use them again and recommend.

So glad I called these guys. I had to move my office on short notice and everyone else I called was fully booked. They showed up on time. They worked incredibly hard. One guy actually carried FIVE boxes of files on his back. Its the most amazing thing I've ever seen.I'll definitely be using for them for my next move.

San Francisco 1 Movers and Moving
My husband hired this company due to the recommendations. These guys justify each good appraisal that they have. If I transfer another time, I would undeniably contact this mover, they exceeded even my husbands already high-level belief based upon the Google reviews.
Tips & Advices
Yes, it’s best to empty drawers, wardrobes and chests before a move. Items always get knocked around a bit, and doors can fly open even if they’ve been taped. In fact, more often than not, movers will want to remove the drawers from a dresser--or disassemble the wardrobe to be more space-efficient.
Yes, it is customary to tip movers, but the amount varies widely. For full-service moves, a 5 percent tip is suggested, although, for extra service, some people go up to 10 percent . For small local movers, you can give each mover $10 for a few-hour job, or $20-$40 for jobs that take longer.
A bill of lading is the legal contract for the move. It provides a detailed receipt, in addition to a contract between the client and the mover. It authorizes the mover to transport the goods from one specific point to another, and it outlines the exact scope of services, with cost breakdown for those services. It also provides an itemized list of the inventory, and carrier liability protection for each declared item. Finally, it specifies the payment arrangement. Make sure to go over your itemized list extremely carefully before finalizing the paperwork--and get a copy of the full document. A good mover will go over everything on the bill of lading with the customer.
There are several items that moving companies will not move – those items will be listed on a document as “non-allowables.” These items typically fall in three categories: perishables, sentimental/personal items, and hazardous material. Perishables are food and plants. Sentimental/personal value is up to the client to decide, but usually includes jewelry, medical and dental records, personal paperwork, valuables and collectibles. Hazardous material is the tricky category, since it includes a lot of everyday items found in the garage, garden or kitchen. For example, cleaning liquids and pesticides both are considered non-allowable by many companies. Some go so far as to disallow nail polish and batteries.
A binding estimate means that the moving company cannot charge more than the stated amount, though they can lower the final bill if the scope of the job was smaller than expected. A non-binding moving estimate is more likely to wind up costing more than expected, since the movers can increase their rates for unforeseen variables like stairs, “long carry” and materials.
