First week I eliminated two things I was paying for that were absolutely FREE- created their budget and THEN some. As a business owner that's what's most important- show me the money it's about that simple

Ambiance
I am a 42 yr. resident of the Haight and have been going to Ambiance for as long as they've been on Haight St-I live 2 blocks away and love all the Ambiance stores, but I just LOVE our Haight St. Ambiance as I've known everyone there forever. The owners, Kieran and Donna are wonderful as is all the staff. When I pop by it brightens my day just to see all your friendly, helpful and cheerful faces!!!! Practically, my ENTIRE wardrobe is from Ambiance!!! Welcome home to Haight St. We missed you during the remodeling, but the store looks wonderful, so great to see the staff who are, truly, likely friends to me AND thank you for all you do for all of us shoppers and the lift you give our neighborhood!!! Love to you all from us! Helen and my Beannie Cat!

Sakura Sakura
While the shop looks very nice, the owners do NOT believe in customer support. They will never return voice messages left on their answering machine. They do not fulfill their promises. Never believe that they will order something for you. I will never shop here again.

Boccalone
Blue Bottle Coffee is SF Bay Area coffee revolution that has spread internationally. My coworker from Tokyo had heard so much about it, he took 4 lbs of coffee with him, back to Japan. The good old drip-coffee is prepared individually, upon order. They are relatively pricey, which is why I said "treat yourself." Most businesses offer their employees decent/branded free coffee at work - but, possibly a handful (if any) offer Blue Bottle. So, head on to your closest Blue Bottle Cafe or Kiosk for a new appreciation of coffee. The Ferry Building is an amazing destination for a foodie, especially if the foodie is also a coffee connoisseur.
