Swiss Louis Restaurant
The service is among one of the most excellent in all of the restaurants I have tried in my life! Wonderful, accommodating servers. It's a beautiful, light ambiance, quite sophisticated but don't feel overwhelmed! It's actually quite down to earth since it's in the middle of many tourist attractions. The view of the ocean is beautiful and you can see Alcatraz from a distance. As for the food, I was quite surprised to find that the fish and chips exceeded the usual quality of a typical fish and chips order. The bread bowl soups are okay and the salad selection quality depends on your order! I had clam linguine pasta and it was really good. My complaint, however, is that this place has small portion sizes. I was still satisfied at the end of the meal but I'm glad I ordered appetizers and a to go pizza. Speaking of those, the vegetarian pizza was delicious and one of the best pizzas I've had. I also have to give a shoutouts to the delectable calamari appetizers! They were quite tender with the perfect crunch. Overall, this place is reasonably priced and I will definitely be coming back.

We had been walking along the pier for a while and decided to get something to eat. Many of the restaurants had waiting lines or long waits. This one was way down at the end of the pier and wasn’t crowded. Usually, that’s a bad sign. We were seated immediately and had a nice water view. Our server, Claudia was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. I tried the New England clam chowder and it was pretty good for a west coast recipe. My wife had the Pasta primavera, loaded with fresh veggies. I had the Spaghetti con frutti de mare. It was loaded with mussels, tender calamari, prawns and clams. They have quite an extensive menu. We were very pleased with our choice of restaurant.

What can I say about this place? Amazing Italian food, gorgeous ocean view, kind and friendly waiter. I wish I had gotten his name, but whoever you are, you rock! Customer service levels were on point.Fancy yet casual place. You can have wine tastings (I think), there were a bunch of elderly people with different wines on their table. Interesting concept; food restaurant service with wine tastings.Came here during a very, very busy time. Wait time took about 30-50 minutes, and surprisingly, that was the shortest wait time out of all the places we looked at, that's what brought me here. Was it worth it? For the food, yes.

Town Hall Restaurant
There is not one bad thing I have to say about Town Hall. There is a great vibe the minute you step foot into the restaurant and they can accommodate small and large parties. By far my favorite appetizer is their BBQ shrimp with the warm sauce over the perfectly crisp garlic bread. As many times as I've tried to recreate it at home, nothing comes close. There is not a single thing on the menu that is bad and when you get the check it comes in a book filled with previous customers' reviews. The best decision you could make in 2016 is to take yourself here for a dinner you won't forget.

Love this place . The view of the sunset while having dinner accompanied with delicious food is just perfect setting. Been here twice now, the service is great. The ceaser salad is the best ever, the lettuce is crisp, crouton have a great garlic & herb flavor. I tried their Fillet of Basa - it's a very light fish, with mango chutney and caramelized onions on too. Overall, their menu is great, the view is great of the ocean & Golden Gate Bridge & the ambiance is quite nice. If you are in town visiting, I definitely recommend this place.

We were here on our last night in San Francisco and Deon, our waiter, made it the very best! Amazing views of the bay and such wonderful Italian seafood, so charming and absolutely delicious food. We started out with the cracked Dungeness crab, so sweet and juicy. Then my husband had the Chicken Marsala and I had the Linguini and Clams, probably the best I've ever had. All the while the sun is setting on the bay. We couldn't have asked for anything better!! I highly recommend this place. It's on the 2nd level on Pier 39, don't miss it!

Swiss Louis Restaurant
We were on vacation and stumbled across this restaurant on the pier. Food was really good and flavorful. Cocktails were also amazing. Our waiter, Daniel C was phenomenal. Very knowledgeable of wines and menu. He had a lot of great suggestions. He often checked back on us making sure our experience was nothing less than superb. We will be back to San Francisco and definitely going back to Swiss Louis and requesting Daniel as our waiter. Great food and impeccable professional service! Can't go wrong!

Three of us went here after being stuffed from an earlier lunch and not wanting a big meal in the early evening. They were very accommodating knowing we would just be sharing a few things. The oysters were large and succulent. We also got the steamed clams and an order of sourdough bread for dipping which was flavored delicately. We then split an entree of pasta with seafood and that didn't disappoint either. Great view and nice and sort of upscale after seeing all the other things on pier 39

We ate at this restaurant before going to see a play. We were seated at table by an open window and it was a beautiful day. Our waiter was friendly and helpful with menu choices. I got a pizza and it was this and crispy with appropriate amount of toppings. Two people shared the veal bolognese and they loved. The last ordered the meatball sandwich and said it was great. It took a little long to get our food so we were kinda rushed to get to the play, but we did and would go back again.

We have just enjoyed a fabulous lunch at Swiss Louis on Fishermans Wharf San Francisco.A lovely table for the two of us had views across to The Golden Gate Bridge. Our waiter Abraham, was brilliant.even when we were paying our bill & two $50 notes were stuck together, he returned to our table to say he had found an extra $50 in our payment. How incredibly honest is that ??!!We would highly recommend Swiss Louis Restaurant to anyone wanting to enjoy good food, service & a great view.
