Absolutely fantastic from beginning to end! The dinner is five courses, served at a leisurely pace and the waiter uses a wash bowl to help you clean your hands throughout the night. Completely delicious food, every single bite was perfect. The dining area is gorgeous, cozy and decorated with textiles brought over by the owner from Morocco. My family very much enjoyed the very talented belly dancer, she was sweet and a beautiful dancer! Even though it's a rather steep price for our family of seven, we will definitely be going back the next time we are in San Fransisco! Worth every single penny for 2 and a half hours of relaxation and entertainment! The place is a MUST!!!
I work down the street from Dos Pinas, and eat there at least once a week. It's a lot of fun with a group of people, especially on fridays with the two dollar coronas. I order pretty much the same thing every time, avocado burrito! It has huge chunks of avocados and spicy sauce, rice, lettuce and beans- fills me up all day! sometimes I order the baja fried fish tacos, so yummy with a side of rice and black beans. Go friday for lunch, but get there early because the culinary students invade the outside tables, and they are not a pretty bunch!
've been here a few times, I wouldn't have thought the food was entirely Turkish however given I'm not Turkish how would I know! The food is really good, I have not had a meal that hasn't been really tasty. The wild Salmon a gorgeous and the meat dishes are cooked to perfection! It's quite reasonable prices for San Francisco, nice for a treat or special occasion. You can byo your own wine which makes it a little cheaper.
My roommate and I stumbled upon this little place coming back from a bike ride at the park. The tzatziki with spicy hummus was delicious! For the main course we chose a great lunch special they have where you get to pick 3 items and a side for 9 bucks. The chicken pomegranate literally fell off the bone. Nice touch with the little cookie nibbles they hand you with the check. We will definitely be back!
Orale Orale is hands down the best cantina style Mexican food downtown. The food is very fresh and expertly prepare. The service is extremely friendly and they are fast!! You'll have your meal before two sips of your corona. They are extremely busy at lunch, but the lines moves quickly. Try them for dinner after work too, when they aren't so busy. Fantastic margaritas too!
Unfulfilling and Unsatisfied, If you're planning on watching the movie while eating dinner, be prepared for poor sound. In addition, plan on waiting awhile before recieving your food. As for eating outdoors, the picnic tables are not comfortable at all, especially when the drinks and plates are tilted on the uneven tables while you eat. Meal portions are small and unfulfilling.
This is my go to spot when for an easy, delicious, and casual business lunch. It is not a stuffy or overpriced place, but more of a cool and relaxed spot. It is always packed for lunch, so make sure you have reservations for a large group. You must get their guacamole and chips to start - very tasty.
What a great little find. The Baja fish tacos are delicious and completely stuffed with toppings! Mmmm. The chips and guac are also tasty. Their chips are some of my favorite, just the right amount of crispity crunch. Ordering online was fast and easy and definitely the way to go.
For a quick bite to eat when shopping on Brannon Street, we often stop here. They have great tacos, burritos, nachos, enchiladas, etc. It is a tiny place with a couple of tables outside, so most patrons do take-out. Prices are competitive and service is efficient.
There are so many other places we could have gone to but we decided to go here, we would like to have the experience that we will never soon forget and we found it in here, everything is better than anything else, the food, the service, just perfect.
