YP - The Real Yellow PagesSM - helps you find the right local businesses to meet your specific needs. Search results are sorted by a combination of factors to give you a set of choices in response to your search criteria. These factors are similar to those you might use to determine which business to select from a local Yellow Pages directory, including proximity to where you are searching, expertise in the specific services or products you need, and comprehensive business information to help evaluate a business's suitability for you. “Preferred” listings, or those with featured website buttons, indicate YP advertisers who directly provide information about their businesses to help consumers make more informed buying decisions. YP advertisers receive higher placement in the default ordering of search results and may appear in sponsored listings on the top, side, or bottom of the search results page.

A big shout out for two of your dedicated volunteers Marla & Al. I had end of the year donations to drop off at the last minute. I was coming from the San Diego State area. So to my disappointment your El Cajon Blvd. store wasn't open. It was 5:00 PM. on New Year's Eve that I headed over to your location on 30th St. where I found your two dedicated volunteers willing to come out to my car "in the pouring rain" to collect my donations! Marla & Al, should be recognized by your organization for their dedication and service. My thanks to them for keeping The doors open to accept donations on New Year's Eve!!!

21.Humble Heart Thrift Store & Boutique
531 16th St
I have been going to thrift stores for 40 years. Humble Heart Thrift store has the pricing that a thrift store should be. They have an an Art Gallery, a big Book room, Furniture room, clothing, accessories, linens, electronics, tons of videos and records and cassette tapes, games and DVD's, cell phone chargers, Misc cords and computer stuff, knic knacs, housewares, collectables, a kids room and they even have a dressing room to try the clothes on. There is so much to see at this store. They even have a really nice little boutique with even nicer stuff but still at a good bargin. When you walk in everyone is pleasant and helpful. They even help the homeless. I can't help but want to go all the time. They are always getting new stuff!
22.Frock You Vintage Clothing
4121 Park Blvd
I like the comments on the smell of the clothes!!! It's true, they do smell fine, hahaha, but for those of us with access to washers and dryers I thought the best part was the range of clothes they have, very fun, very cool.

Western riders should probably stay home as their selection of western tack is very minimal. They have everything you need with the english rider in mind. It is located in Del Mar and most of their tack is high end brand name and good quality. You can usually dig through to find something very inexpensive but still nice. I have never seen any junk here and most of it is worth the asking price. They let you try the saddles for a few days and have a large selection of dressage tack as well. I hate the location. They used to be in a regular store but are now hidden in the back of what looks like a run down facility that has a lot of traffic and is difficult to get in and out of with their parking area. The staff is always friendly but they really need to consider moving back to a better location.
24.Amvets Thrift Store
999 Cardiff St
Today I came in and found the perfect dress and matching shoes for my 60's costume, got to the register only to be told that i cant buy the dress because it doesnt have a tag. The rude assistant manger begins telling me it needs to be "re-processed" seriously? it takes 30 seconds to made a price tag. Then the loss prevention guy treated me like it was my fault that it didnt have a tag. The cashier was great and TRIED to get my item "Re-prossed" but after waiting 2o minutues i gave up. I then spoke to another manager to return the shoes I know didnt need because they wouldnt sell me the dress. She, AGAIN went to ask the assistant manager, who said no. SO, instead of giving me a tag and selling me another item, the refunded my money for the shoes. That made no sense to me. I went down the street to the Vetrens Thrift Store and was treated much nicer. I will not be coming back, and so far I've told 10 other friends about this ridiculous experience today.
I purchased a hard to find vintage 3D Camera at Baras (Hillcrest Location) 2 days ago. Upon getting home and attempting to put batteries in, I found that the old batteries were still inside and corroded as a result damaging the camera beyond repair. There was no indication from the staff that it was broken to begin with when they took my money. I went back today simply to return the camera and apply what I paid towards a guitar I had my eye on which is where my experience went sour. The staff was rude, pointed to the "all sales final" sign and blamed me for purchasing the useless piece of plastic for over $15. I explained I wasn't looking for a refund but they still did not change their position. I was noticably upset when I stated that I wouldn't shop there again...their response was "good, don't come back". I tried to help out a local charity instead of looking on ebay. They taught me a bitter and expensive lesson as I bought new batteries and film elswhere that day I bought the camera. And...I still need to go on ebay and buy another similiar camera.
