I have been using KC to maintain and repair my BMW X5 for the past 6 years. He is very knowledgeable and able to troubleshoot problems quickly. I was always charged an honest fee and the work that he did was of very high quality. I fully recommend.

Independent Volvo Saab Jeep & Subaru
Short story - horrible mechanical services.Car is 80s Volvo 240, fairly easy to work on rather than any modern car, Google it.Prior the repairs: Car has leaks from Engine (drain plug, rear main seal), Transmission (rear seal, transmission pan gasket, etc).* Shop timeline1) In the shop: 03/22/2017 - 03/31/2017Car has small residue of oil underneath and making a grinding sound in 2 gear of transmission. Later, the car purged a lot of oil while was driving and in the community where was parked over night. The reason is that the shop overfilled the ATF in transmission by about 1.5 quart. Thus, possibly there is damage to the transmission. The oil was spilled in the engine compartment and the engine oil pressure sensor connector was broken. The owner fixed the connector. Transmission was painted in blue color without notifying the me.2) In the shop: 04/03/2017 - 04/04/2017The car is still leaking ATF around transmission. The transmission fluid is overfilled again. Determined that the car need to be driven 15-20 minutes on the freeway in order to show that.3) In the shop: 04/11/2017 - 04/14/2017The car is still leaking ATF around transmission.4) In the shop: 04/19/2017 - 04/19/2017The car is still leaking ATF around transmission.5) In the shop: 04/25/2017 - 04/25/2017The car is still leaking ATF around transmission. Also, the rear of the car started making grinding noise.6) In the shop: 04/28/2017 - 04/28/2017The car seems to stop leaking until 06/10/2017, where I discover it started to leak again around rear of transmission.* Overall Damage:1) Overfill of the transmission by a lot 2) Broken engine oil pressure sensor connector - it was fixed by me.3) Purged transmission oil caused all the back of station wagon to be in oil - washed, I paid.4) Poorly painted transmission - not only the shop did not get any permission from the me to paint the transmission, but because it was non-professionally painted5) Broken engine mount bracket bolt - fixed by me

Shift Auto & Tires
Had a great experience! I came in for oil change Patricio was Kind and helpful. He suggested a few things that needed to be replaced but reassured me that it could be done in a future date and that I was still safe to drive. That for me had me in awe. As a woman and not knowing much about cars made me feel comfortable knowing how honest he was. At the end of service he actually replaced what I needed at no cost. I highly recommend this place and I for sure be a loyal customer now

Brought Back Bugs & Porcsches
With out question this was the finest restoration place to take your VW and or Porsche .. Day to day service .. Everything is done under one roof.. On the restoration end never fast but great work takes time.. Closed only due to the air cooled cars slowly dissipated... I still have 2 and miss them.

Shady mechanic shop. I've only been here for oil and fluid changes. Good prices. However, today, I got a taste of some very shady practice:They informed me that both my radiator AND water pump are leaking, and gave me a price quote.I asked them "Where? Some seal? Something between them somewhere? Where is this leak?"This long haired young Asian dude in skinny jeans condescendingly asks:1.) Do you know where the radiator is? Do you know where the water pump is?2.) Did you know your radiator is plastic?!He claims that the radiator is leaking all over. Generically. Can't actually tell me how they detect the leak or where the leak is. 1.) I don't see any leaking or coolant loss at all from either the radiator or the pump2.) Actually the radiator resevoir is plastic. It's metal everywhere else. Besides, that doesn't actually explain anything about the leakage. The guy is condescending, has no idea what he's talking about, is a terrible communicator if he does know anything, and I just wanted to get out of there. I'm starting to think their recommendation is based on all the dried collant all over the engine. That came from a leak 6 months ago, and I took it to Lexus. They did a full diagnostic and preassure check on the entire coolant system, and it was determined to be the radiator cap. Replaced it and that fixed it. I'm thinking that these guys saw that and are using that to recommend an unneccessary replacement of the entire radiator and waterpump. I just spoke to my neighbor who also took his Audi to this shop a few months ago. He also has had the same experience with these people:1.) They claimed his water pump was leaking. He had just had it replaced and there was no leaks before or after their claim.2.) They quoted him $700 to replace his thermostat housing - he did it himself and it cost $40 in parts and 45 minutes of labor. Bad communication and dubious recommendations. I'm calling this place out as a shady auto shop.

J & M Auto Body
I went in to get an estimate for damages I was going to take care of myself. John, the owner immediately greeted me. I showed him my car. He took it to the back and told me he'd be right back. When he brought my car back he'd taken all of the paint transfer off and there was just a minor scratch on it. I offered to pay him and he refused with open arms. He assured me that this was the place to take your car if you wanted the work to be done right. I was so impressed and grateful for his help and willingness to take care of me at no cost even after I insisted. Thank you, John, you were warm, friendly, and professional! P Glenn
Tips & Advices
Using a variety of tools and processes, many of which require specialized training, auto body mechanics primarily repair cosmetic and structural damage to vehicles after accidents occur. They can also enhance a vehicle’s appearance and performance by replacing and adding new parts to a vehicle’s body.
This depends on the severity of the work that needs to be done. Something such as paintless dent repair for a few small dents can take an hour. Whereas auto body repairs for damages caused by a major accident can take multiple days to correct.
All auto body parts can be repaired but there is a threshold for the level of repairs possible. Parts can be damaged beyond repair and would need to be wholly replaced.
Auto body parts can be made from a wide variety of materials, usually based on what the part’s purpose is. Vehicle frames body panels, bumpers, roof racks, and other items that need to be strong and durable are usually constructed from steel, which is known for its durability and resistance to rust and high temperatures. But aluminum is quickly becoming a popular material of construction due to its lightweight yet durable nature. Body kits and other aftermarket parts like spoilers and hoods can be constructed from one form of plastic or another.
Yes, the vast majority of car makes and models have aftermarket parts available for many of their components. But higher-end vehicles typically have less aftermarket parts available since they often use specialized materials and manufacturing processes that are difficult to duplicate for many aftermarket manufacturers.
