ALERT: Owner of company had ZERO DAMAGE LIABILITY INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR HIS CUSTOMERS, confirmed to me by his provider, State Farm, on 6/8/16. Being very likely that Adrian will say I am lying and/or try to refute my review of his business, I feel it's important that I share this indisputable information. I'd be quite pleased to see Mr. Carranza attempt to "explain" and/or contradict the following. After breaking my windshield, Adrian offered that he should have warned me that further damage could result from the repair attempt and admitted he did not indicate that potential outcome in any way prior to working on the chip. He also did not advise me of, present me with, discuss/explain or have me sign anything related to what's known as a "PDR"-(Pre-existing Damage Report). According to the Bureau of Automotive Repair, he is required to obtain his customer's signature on a PDR prior to performing any work on their vehicle. FACT #1: HE DOES NOT HAVE A PDR WITH MY SIGNATURE ON IT.

I did read the reviews and decided to install the car alarm there on my Mercedes-Benz,Alex was nice and told his installer to install the door actuator first, after about 2 hours Alex informed me that his aftermarket door actuator cannot be installed and that the door lock now don't work at all. That was a bad sign ! but I went to the dealer and paid $250 for the new door lock. Hired outside professional and had the lock installed for another $50. Came to Alex again, and had his "installer" install the alarm. After about 3 hours I see the clueless face of his "installer" and I ask Alex whats the problem ? The "installer" was not able to find a wire to connect the lights to alarm. Im being a nice person again said its ok, just let me go. Paid market price for the alarm job and when I got in my car to drive away, I was shocked that "installer" / butcher bended my wood dash and left a disaster inside. Again being a nice guy I just wanted to go home. When I was driving I realized that the cruise control don't work. I loved using the cruise control daily and called Alex right away. Came to his shop again, another 3 hours waisted and saw how the butcher actually pull out the cruise control "stick" as he call it. Ok then Alex ordering the "stick" from ebay and there goes about another week. Bring the car back for another 3 hours of waisted time until Alex told me that he ordered the wrong "stick" and butcher cannot make it fit. I starting to get upset. Same evening I open the driver door and illumination dont work as well as running boards. Calling Alex and my patience just ran out. 10 days later alex text me that another cruse control stick arrived from ebay and Im telling him that Im not driving to his shop any more. Im tired to see the clueless face of his butcher and telling him that every time I go to his shop to fix previous problem, the new electrical problem comes-up. I telling alex to send a professional to my address and he refuses. Im telling alex I want refund for his alarm that is not working still and he text back there is no refunds-look at the receipt. At this point Im done with alex and his uneducated, unlicensed butcher/installer. I look up El Cajon Audio in San Diego business tax records and it does not exist. I look up in California State License for Alarm Installer and it does not exist. Going to the bank now to dispute partial payment and figure out what kind of entity runs that shop, then Small claims court. DID I EVER NEED THIS MUCH HEADACHE ??? I JUST WANTED TO INSTALL THE ALARM AND PAID MARKET PRICE WITHOUT NEGOTIATION !AVOID THIS BUTCHER SHOP !

Tint 2K San Diego
Tint2k tinted my friend's Mustang at her house. First, they showed up late. After, They left her BRAND NEW CAR a complete mess! Then, they promised to send a company out to detail it. No company ever showed and Tint2k ignores her phone calls. I made an appointment for them to stop by and retint my back window. They said they would be by between 3:00 and 4:00. I sat home all day waiting for them and they never showed. I tried calling them, they wouldn't answer. I contacted another location and they said they would get back to me and never did. Don't waste your time or your money.

Tint 2K San Diego
I was walking down main st in el cajon and found Tint 2K employee Johnny doing a tint job on a bmw at a shop called SandS Autosports. I was impressed with the work, and decided to let him tint my 97 civic. I just needed the rear 3 windows done, that it, should be simple. I found out very fast, that this guy was not only unprofessional, but refused to stand by his poor quality work, and make it right. When my car was pulled in, apparently the roll up door was not properly secured, and hit my driver side door, chiped the paint, and was told to buy a paint marker to fix . I just paid over $500 for a paint job, and was pissed. The job should of ended there, but i went ahead and let him tint my car hoping i would get the same quality service, as provided for the bmw, as well as a discount for their negligence. My tint bubbled the next day, and johnny cut the tint around where my rear window mounted tail light was. looked horrible. Have you ever seen a tint job, cut like that ? Definetly not a professional one. Johnny promised to make it right the next day, and i found out after that he completly ignored my calls, all of them. To say Tint 2K and employee Johnny in a black ford ranger is unprofessional, would be a absolute understatement. Chared $125 for bubbled tint, with cut out. You have to be kidding me. Take your money elsewhere, or you will end up here, sorry like me.

Tint 2K San Diego
Tint2K is a window tint company out of San Diego. They are a mobile tinting service for residential, commercial, and auto. They were very responsive at first. They came to my place of work, took about 3 hours to tint 9 windows in my Jeep Wrangler. After about three months, my windows started to bubble. ALL 9 of them! I felt comfortable using Tint2K because they have a lifetime warranty against bubbling and fading. I called Tink2K to let them know my issue. They were very nice and said they would come back to my place of work and replace the tint at no charge. I was stood up three different times. They would set an appointment with me and not show up. Finally, the fourth appt, two guys came, checked out my windows, and agreed that they were bubbling. He told me they could not do the replacement that day due to the time, because they were initially late. They told me they would come back the next day, and not to my surprise, never showed up. I have called multiple times and left messages. DO NOT use Tint2K. Awful experience and customer service.
Tips & Advices
Window tint film is typically applied to the inside of your car window. The film is first laid across the outside of the car window, and it's cut to fit the window's dimensions. Then the trimmed piece of tint film is installed on the inside of the car window.
Tinted windows offer several benefits. They can reduce the amount of heat in a car's cabin by as much as 50 percent, and this can lighten your fuel bill by making you less reliant on air conditioning in hot weather. Tinted windows block UV light, and this can protect drivers and passengers  from sunburn and skin cancer. Also, tinted windows protect the components of a car's cabin from being faded by the sun.
Ceramic tint is a type of film used to darken windows. Ceramic tint is a high-quality product, and it's typically the most expensive type of film tint on the market. This type of tint contains a ceramic particle that nonconductive and nonmetallic, and it can reduce solar heat within your car's cabin by as much as 50 percent.
A limo tint is one of the darkest tints available on the market. A limo tint has a VLT of just 5 percent. This means that the tint allows just 5 percent of exterior light to enter the car's cabin. A limo tint on the front side windows is illegal in all states except Michigan.
Window tinting percentages refer to the amount of light that a tint allows into a vehicle's cabin. This is known as the tint's visible light transference, or VLT. The higher the VLT, the lighter the tint of the window. For example, a window with a VLT of 30 percent would be much darker than a window with a VLT of 70 percent.
