CVB Plumbing
It is my pleasure to post a review for our partners at CVB Plumbing. My family has owned and operated a 200+ unit Apartment Community in east San Diego County for over 30 years. CVB Plumbing has been servicing our plumbing needs for over 20 of those years. Our business philosophy is to partner with quality, reliable, and trustworthy vendors sharing our same principals and values. Quality and pricing are important, but aren't always the bottom line when we choose to partner with a vendor. CVB delivers with quality and price, but its their experience, knowledge, and openness that sets them apart from the others. They understand our side of the business. They focus on whats best for their customer.

CVB Plumbing
Once again, CVB has handled our plumbing needs. We are a local residential property management company of 39 years in Rancho Bernardo and have used CVB for over 15 years. Their service, knowledge, friendliness, and competative pricing really make them a plumbing vendor we will always go to when needed. We've used them for plumbing re routes as they use the best available materials and their worksmanship is always reliable. We've also used them for various plumbing troubles w/ hot water in which they are great at finding / resolving the issue. From the basic plumbing needs to the wost kind, CVB has us covered. I am truly satisfied

Flow Tech Plumbing
We had a overflowing washer drain called a few companies, most could get to us in a couple hours, called flow tech and they were here in about 30 mins on a saturday morning. The owner Steve came out and fixed the problem in no time at all, including getting on the roof and clearing all the drains. I called because of a washer drain and I'm pretty sure he cleared all the drains in the house because the whole house seems to be draining a whole lot better. I will call them again if I need any other plumbing service.

Community Plumbing
Tony & Eric repiped my 99 year old house. I had all original cast iron which had finally given out. The first plumber I called gave me an estimate that would require we were out of the house for a whole month. Community Plumbing got it done in 1 week and we only had to be in a hotel for 2 nights. They saved us tons of time and money with their quick work and professional planning. I would absolutely recommend giving them a call. They're the real deal.

CVB Plumbing
I just had a new gas line installed by CVB and Jay did great work and was very helpful and explained things. He also fixed a couple of leaky valves we had for our washing machine. This was the second time I called CVB and both jobs were done fine. (And he came and gave me a free estimate for the gas line too... other places wanted to charge to come out and see what had to be done to install the gas line) I would call them again.

CVB Plumbing
We had a non-functional water heater. CVB plumbing replaced it with a Navien tankless water heater, which is working great. The team was professional and efficient, and made sure everything was working before they left. The water heater is great! I highly recommend CVB Plumbing for any plumbing needs that you may have. They are professional, courteous and efficient. They know their stuff and will get the job done right.

Ocean Plumbing
Alan Quade of Ocean Plumbing has been our personal plumber for the past 21 years and we wouldn't use anyone else. He re-piped our entire house with copper piping, has replaced two water heaters through the years, repaired a damaged sewer line and has taken care of assorted other plumbing-related needs. He has always been professional, skilled, reasonable and friendly.

Tips & Advices
  • Are you licensed and registered?
  • Are you insured and bonded?
  • How many years have you been in business?
  • What, if any, professional associations do you belong to?
  • May I have a list of references?
  • Do you offer a written warranty for your work?
  • Will I need a permit for this work?
It is important to have a written warranty for any work or repairs done to the plumbing in your house, especially if it is a major repair. Look for a professional  who is willing to  stand by his or her work.
Before you hire a plumber, contact their past customers if you're able to. These people can be a wealth of information if you ask them the right questions. Pose the following queries to these former patrons when you get the chance:
  • Were you pleased with the work done?
  • Was the project completed on time?
  • Did the plumber give you a written warranty and guarantee his or her work?
  • Were there any unexpected costs that arose?
  • Would you hire this plumber again? If not, why?
A permit provides added assurance that the work is done correctly. Having this in place means an inspector will check the work your contractor or plumber does to ensure he or she did the job correctly. If you plan on putting your house or commercial building on the market, a real estate agent and prospective buyers will want to check any large work you did to make sure it was done properly.
A trustworthy plumber will have both commercial liability insurance as well as be bonded. The insurance and the bond protects the plumber from paying for any damages made to your house out of pocket. Having professionals that carry both of these policies can protect all of you from any mishaps that could occur while they work on your building.
