My son was in the Imperial Beach Building Maintenance program. He was there for three weeks, was never late or absent, and passed all his tests. Then they called him into the office and told him he wasn't "right" for this program, told him to get his things and leave the campus and if he returned it would be trespassing. I called many times to find out what was going on; the receptionist told me the instructor would call me back but he never did. Shady way to do business.

Tips & Advices
As is the case with automobile insurance, there are state-mandated minimums when it comes to truck insurance coverage, and these minimums are legally enforced. The minimums vary from state to state. Your shipper or broker may also have minimum coverage limits that are required before they will agree to load your truck, and these limits may exceed the state minimum.
Primary liability insurance is required by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, and it covers all accidents and injuries caused by your equipment when you are operating your truck for business purposes. Secondary liability insurance provides liability coverage for accidents that happen when your truck is being utilized for non-business or personal use.
Any vehicle that is used to transport goods or fare-paying passengers is known as a commercial vehicle. Vehicles such as semi trucks, buses, and vans used for business purposes all fall within this category. If you operate a commercial vehicle, it must be covered by a commercial auto insurance policy.
Truck insurance is necessary because it protects your interests as a business owner. If your truck is out of commission for any reason, it can result in lost income, and truck insurance provides you with the means to get your vehicle up and running very quickly if it is compromised in any way. Truck insurance also protects you from financial liability if the cargo your truck is carrying suffers loss or damage.
The price of truck insurance is impacted by several factors, including the age and driving record of the truck drivers; and trucking routes, as routes that travel through densely populated metropolitan areas, such as New York or Los Angeles, will generate steeper insurance rates.
