Spectrum Emergency Center
I wasn't sure if I was at an emergency room or not. The staff there was so nice, I felt like we were at a hotel with Dr's. Dr. Van Deldon spent 15 minutes with us talking, making sure we knew exactly what the problem was as well as the other tests they were running just to be absolutely certain. Above and beyond treatment here. Fast, impeccably clean.

Impact Urgent Care
Had acute allergy reaction to outdoor event. The clinic got me on quickly. I was examined and treated by Dr, Lindsay Stephens, DO. She was extremely competent, took the time to evaluate me properly, but more importantly, correctly prescribe the correct treatment. I would recommend this facility and Doctor.

Rapid Care E M S
Very shady company with shady billing practices. Dispatch supervisor, who also does QA, will rewrite employee run reports to make the patient non ambulatory when 90% of their patients are ambulatory. Enployees would not recognize their own run reports if they were to see them again. No chain of command plus the "Owner" is only the owner on paper. The real owner, who lost his license to own an ambulance company, used to call the company Medical Reliance but opened up again as Rapid Care.

Impact Urgent Care
I went to the Impact Urgent Care on 1604/Huebner.Their staff is so professional and friendly. I really enjoyed how thorough Dr. Evan Ratner was in asking me questions. He sat down and knew exactly what xrays to order and how to proceed with my care. I feel the clinic is so well trained as to how to greet individuals and their friendliness when you are in the clinic. Great group and I have continued to let my friends know about Impact Urgent Care (any of their locations) and all have called me with the same glowing report.Delighted you are wiling to be professional in all areas and help patients.thank you, fran c.

Prompt Urgent Care
I injured my foot recently, so I went to Prompt Urgent Care to have it looked at immediately. The people there are very friendly and courteous. The doctor who attended me properly explained my injury, and I was out and off to my home in about an hour's time.

We recently visited Prompt Urgent Care in San Antonio and had a great experience. The staff was polite and helped us diligently. The doctors we consulted were quite knowledgeable and assisted us in finding a specialist who could help us further.

Prompt Urgent Care
By far, Prompt Urgent Care is the best when it comes to emergency services. I called upon them last week when my father complained of severe chest pain and difficult breathing. The out-of-the-hospital acute care and safe transportation to the centre is impressive. There are well-equipped emergency rooms too. Everybody working there assists to your concern so swiftly that you can rely on them! Best urgent clinic! Thanks much for your great assistance with prompt service.

Prompt Urgent Care
My husband has been under strict medical supervision because of some major heart condition. Over a weekend, stuck with few engagements, it was impossible for me to get out of town for due checkups and tests. Not getting those done was not an option; but I’m glad I chose Prompt Urgent Care after a friend’s reference. All lab tests were done in good time, got the reports too! Swift response always to your concern. Great job!
Tips & Advices
Emergency care facilities can treat infants and children. Roughly 16 percent of emergency patients are infants and children, so the medical professionals at these facilities typically have strong experience in pediatric emergency care.
The average wait time will depend on the type of emergency care facility.. Wait times typically average less than 20 minutes at an urgent care facility. At a hospital-based emergency care facility that treats life-threatening conditions, wait times can take as long as an hour or more.
Board certification is not required for emergency care facilities. However, the top facilities are often board certified. At hospitals, many emergency care centers require that their physicians be board certified as a qualification for employment. Two boards that handle this type of certification are the American Board of Medical Specialties and the American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine.
Emergency care facilities include those that offer urgent care, and some urgent care facilities offer certain primary care services. At these facilities, patients are usually evaluated upon arrival, and a determination is made as to whether the problem requires emergency care, urgent care, or primary care.
Some medical tests and scans are performed at emergency care facilities. These facilities may perform select X-rays and blood tests if this is deemed necessary to assist your treatment. However, the range of medical tests and scans offered is much more limited than those offered as part of standard hospital care.
