Strong Response teaches in an informal setting in a country home on the outskirts of San Antonio. Be sure to check the location, especially if downtown or on the south side. The instructor, Renee Albracht, is thoroughly pleasant. She provides everything necessary in a comfortable learning environment. Class is well-organized and every material needed was prepared ahead of time. She adheres to all AHA guidelines and ensures learners are performing their skills properly. Renee works with you personally if you are having any difficulty.I'm an MD that went to recert my BLS (I have current ACLS and PALS). Renee's class is a nice way for health care professionals and students to obtain their needed certs without sitting in another classroom. I would also recommend her if you have family who need lay training - such as parents of advancing age. The welcoming location, Renee's warmth, and the non-clinical atmosphere will help relax and learn.

I would not hesitate to take more classes and training from Renee and Strong Response. I did a multi week RAD training class . The training was professional and thorough. This really is a subject that is hard to look at and I hesitated a long time before signing up for the training.I am sure that is a common response, but after taking the class I was so glad I overcame that hesitation. Information and training help build power and the class helped me become an advocate for my own well being and I am even considering becoming an instructor for my workplace.

Renee was awesome! My 3 boys and I took self defense classes from her in preparation for a trip out of the country. Even though my kids ages range from 8 to 17, plus me, everyone learned a lot and it was useful for everybody. She gave us a lot of practical skills and had pads so we could practice what we learned without hurting each other. We learned so much and feel much more confident that we could defend ourselves and escape an attacker. She even traveled to us, which was perfect for our situation.

Strong response helped me achieve my basic life support certification needed for nursing school. My instructor,Renee Albracht, was very knowledgeable and confident with the material covered in the course. The classroom was located on her residence which allowed for a laid back, stress free environment. This helped me to be more comfortable engaging in the "hands on" learning covered.I strongly recommend Strong Response to anyone needing their basic life support or first aid certification.

Renee was great! I took the BLS course which I needed for work. She made special accommodations so that I could get the course completed by the date I needed. She was well prepared and did her best to make things comfortable since the course is provided in her home. This was much better than a classroom course and seemed much more personal. She was very sweet and I would recommend her courses to anyone and will definitely keep her in mind when it comes time for renewal.

Renee has extensive experience conducting RAD training. She led Belmont University's Office of Campus Security to make this program available across campus and, in partnership with numerous other organizations, across the city of Nashville, TN. She combines in depth knowledge of the techniques necessary for personal protection with people skills that are extraordinary. The net effect is a strong learning experience for her students. I highly recommend Renee.

Renee is an excellent CPR instructor. She has many years of experiences in self defense and CPR training. The classes are very informative with the latest training methods. She is patience with the students and make sure that you know how to perform CPR, First Aid correctly. I'm a campus officer at Belmont University and I feel confident in giving CPR if the situation arises .

Renee's Provider CPR class is personal and thorough. She accommodated my personal needs without hesitation. She is a lovely person with a kind, tender, and gentle spirit. Her instruction was great overall and she readily gave extra "tips" on proper use of techniques used during rescue of the choking victim. Enjoyed all instruction from Renee!

This was such a good class and it stretched me into a more informed and better prepared woman. This class had a wide range of ages, from elementary to 65 yrs. and Renee met each one of us where we were at! That is the mark of a good instructor! Renee is doing a great job of helping us all to be safe.

I went to Renee to renew my CPR Card. She is very knowledgeable, personable and we had a great time doing the training. She is very reasonably priced, has the latest equipment and easy to contact and arrange the class. I will refer my friends and go to her next time myself.
