Anthony and his crew did an amazing job replacing our fence and a gate at my moms house. Anthony really works with you to achieve the fence you want at a fair price.

ASAP Glass Services Inc
I have to admit that I called a "big name" first (Thad Ziegler Glass), but an uninterested receptionist said they'd have to cal me back (they never did). So, I searched on, and came across ASAP Glass. Checked the reviews. All wonderful, so I gave them a call. I needed a very large custom piece for an Amish Table. They offered to come out that afternoon to measure my table and give me a quote (it was right about what I expected it to cost). They told me it typically takes a week, but I asked them if there was any way they could get it back to me in 5 days for a big dinner I was hosting. No problem! In 4 days, they came back, cleaned my table, placed the beautiful piece of glass on top, and graciously chatted with me about the joy and pain of living in and/or loving the Denver area where another of their locations is. I can not say enough about what a pleasant, PERFECT experience it was working with this company! In fact, I got a quote to do another table! I'd give them 7 stars if I could!!!

Serrato's Fence & Welding
One-Star Rating is Too High! This guy was recommended from a sub-contractor of ours. Francisco and his son Frank repeatedly said they would come out and they would miss our schedule. Finally, it cost our client because his pool failed inspection due to a fence panel not being welded back in place. They can only handle large jobs, which is fine, but don't have enough guts to tell you that. He said he would charge $100 to come out for my little job, I said that was fine, and then we scheduled. Then he wants to keep putting it off, saying maybe he can come tomorrow afternoon.Don't hire them. Very unprofessional!

Tips & Advices
Homeowners should work with a fencing contractor who is certified by or a member of one or more trade organizations, including American Fence Association or the North American Fence Contractors Association.
If a contractor requires an immediate decision, asks you to pay cash or doesn't provide an estimate.
  • Ask for portfolio examples
  • What's their reputation?
  • Is the work guaranteed?
  • Is there a warranty?
With exposure to the sun and the elements, wood fences are prone to cracking, warping and cupping. homeowners are encouraged to clean, seal and stain their fence at least every three years. Clean the fence with a specially formulated cleaner. After 15 to 20 minutes, use a pressure washer to remove any mold, mildew and debris from the fence. Then seal and stain the fence to protect it. An oil stain is recommended, as it penetrates the material and can maintain its condition for years.
Homeowners may use soap and water to clean off these materials, but they generally don't require much more than that. These options can be good for those that want a sturdy but low-touch fence.
