Nicola Kneale - Liberty Mutual Insurance
I have had Nicola representing me with Liberty Mutual Home Insurance for almost a year now and I am proud to say her customer service has been superb. Nicola has to be one of the nicest representatives I have met. She is very knowledgeable and during the process was very honest about my options with coverage and prices. She has always responded promptly when I had questions and she strives to build strong relationships with her clients. As a company, my experience with Liberty Mutual has also been rewarding. I had hail damage last spring and when I called in the claim, a claims adjuster was there within two days. After a thorough inspection, the adjuster processed the claim and I had a check in hand within hours. Definitely something you don't see too often with insurance companies. While no company can guarantee they are the cheapest in every type of insurance, Liberty is by far one of the most competitive.

Kristin Sorensen - State Farm Insurance Agent
I have nothing but GREAT things to say about Kristin. She goes above and beyond just providing us with insurance. She takes a personal interest in our lives and always checks in with us. When something does happen and I have insurance questions, whether its related to her at all, she is always there to answer my questions and help me determine what I need to do to resolve the issue. I have never had this type of experience with any other agent before. I refer everyone I know to her and they have all had great experiences as well.

Brian McLoughlin-Nationwide Insurance
I was in need of several different types of insurance coverages during the Christmas holidays. Joseph C was very accommodating. He went out of his way to get me the coverage that I needed in a short period of time. This was not an easy task during the holidays due to the reduced staff at the main headquarters. The ladies in the office were also very freindly and helpful.Joseph C. was VERY accommodating. He went out of his way to get the coverages that I needed in a short am8unt

Michele Meeks - State Farm Insurance Agent
Michele and her team have been an excellent support to have on our side. Michele personally found cost saving options for our family and helped make sure we were protected in case of an accident. She always remembers us and is nothing but the best, even when we brought in our fussy little babe, ready for his nap! She is a very knowledgeable and smart financial advisor and solution maker.

Leal Insurance Services
I recently moved my insurance to Leal Insurance Services from a private carrier - and couldn't be happier! The process was so smooth and Luis was there to answer all of my questions along the way. Luis is an independent agent and I feel like he works for ME, not the insurance company! He helped me increase my coverage, protect my family, and save money on my home and auto. Thanks, Luis!

David Ison Insurance
Really love the staff here! I work mostly with Jake, and he's been responsive, polite, and very attentive. No experience with any other agent in town- David Ison Insurance's office was the first I called for a quote where I got the best price from five different insurance companies. This company is such a pleasure to work with that I do not need to go anywhere else.

Southern Auto Insurance
By far the best place to get insured. The owner is a terrific lady who will do her best to get the best price for you. Not only is it the best place to get insured, but if you need a notary she will explain everything to you to where you can understand it or she will translate it for you. Like I said by far the best place. A very welcoming and friendly business.

Monica Del Campo - State Farm Insurance Agent
After being rejected by all other Credit Card Companies due to my zero credit history, I am extremely grateful to have been accepted for the State Farm Student Visa credit card. I'm using it to pay for my school tuition this year. I want to express a HUGE thank you to Monica and the team for helping me with the application! :)
Tips & Advices
There are many different providers and plan types, so  shopping for life insurance can be complicated. The first step involves understanding the type and amount of life insurance you need. From there, use online tools or contact local insurance agents to get quotes on rates and learn about how to apply.
The cost of a life insurance policy is determined by two things: the guaranteed benefit amount and the individual risk of the policyholder. The latter is more complicated, and includes many  factors, including health, age, and  occupation. As of May 2017, a 30-year-old woman purchasing a 20-year, $250,000 term life policy can expect to pay about $141 per year. For comparison, a 60-year-old woman purchasing the same policy can expect to pay $1,033 per year. Since women have longer life expectancy on average than men, the latter can expect to pay slightly more. The same 20-year, $250,000 term policy will cost a 30-year-old man $156 per year on average.
Certain specialized policies may provide income replacement in the event of disability, disease, or another situation where it may be impossible to work and medical expenses are high. One common alternative is known as an “accidental death and dismemberment” policy. AD&D policies work similarly to term life plans, but will only pay out death benefits when a fatality is caused by an accident, or if the policyholder loses a limb or the ability to see or hear. Death from a heart attack or cancer, for example, is usually not covered by AD&D, but these policies might offer lower premiums than a standard term plan.
Many adults with children choose to buy a term life plan that covers them from the birth of a child until they turn 18, which is often the most cost-effective way to insure against the risk of income loss from unexpected death. While it  is possible to save enough cash or invest to provide even more funds in case of such an emergency, investing is subject to more risk of loss than a life insurance plan, and accumulating enough savings to provide a sizeable safety net can be difficult.
Whole life and universal life plans are each considered a type of “permanent life insurance.” Universal life is often similar in concept to whole life, but offers more flexibility in premium payments and cash withdrawals. For example, you might be able to temporarily pause or reduce premium payments at any time under a universal policy. It’s also often possible to borrow from what you’ve already paid into the plan or against a guaranteed death benefit in the form of a loan.
