South Texas Appliance Repair
Rude Disrespectful as well as not telling the truth. Was told parts will be ordered after approval from insurance company then 7 10 business days to get the part. The insurance company told us they contacted then to say the repair man could not do the repair 2 days prior to our call and that a new company will be doing calling to set up appointment to look at the appliance. 2 weeks now no service to the refrigerator.

Called this company for an aerial lift repair. Got someone on the phone that said I should talk to the shop manager so she transferred my call. Phone rang & rang & went to voice mail. Ileft my number & never got a call back.

Mike's Appliance Svc
Worst experience ever! Waited all day for no one to call or show. At 8pm, I was finally called and asked what was going on, and questioned about whether or not my leaking appliance was even really broken because the repair guy "didn't feel like" coming to fix it. Wtf???

A & E Factory Svc
This company is a joke. I would give it negative stars if I could. Called through Frigidaire for warranty work. Explained the issues and was told that A & E would call 24-48 hours in advance to let me know when they would arrive. That didn't happen. Showed up on Monday put a bead of silicone around the freezer and left. COMPLETELY missed the issue of the seal on the freezer DOOR. Spent the next 2 days trying to get the tech back to fix it. I have never been given more of a run-around than when trying to work with this company. I am sure the tech who visited us and the representatives I spoke to are anomalies as providing that level of service would put any company out of business!!

Barton Appliance
Mr. Barton is honest, reliable, and very knowledgeable. Repair was inexpensive unlike other quotes I received. I recommend him to all friends and family. The phone number listed on YELLOW PAGES is wrong! The correct phone number is 210-556-8498!

San Antonio Appliance Repair
Yep, the previous review is spot on! These people do not have a conscious. They will take your money without doing any work or doing substandard work and never think twice about it. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CROOKS!!!

All Star Appliance
There is not one thing ill I can say of Allstar Appliance. They provided EXCELLENT service! My washer was making a loud roaring noise, so I called them and came out the next day. Found out the problem and repaired it! And also cleaned it up! It's like it's brand new again! Thank you!!!

All Star Appliance
The worst service ever and the lady that answer the phone is so rude when calling back complaining about the service, they took about $700.00 from me offer little warranty time, they send poor skilled technicians, first he said is the fan put a new one didn't work, then took out another part of my fridge put a new one it wasn't either, next send another technician he said is the motherboard I paid again and it didn't work either after a month refrigerator had the same problem. so I spent $700.00 for nothing, I just didn't want to call them back and bought another refrigerator. Please don't use this company they send poor skilled technicians just guessing what the problem could be.

A Plus Appliance
Horrible!Bought a washer and dryer tried to save a little money by opting out of delivery. When we hook up the washer it flooded our bathroom and bedroom from the drum that fills up. Called because we have a warrenty and find out they charge for a technician to come and fix it even under a wsrrenty but we can bring it to them to fix for free. My husband fixed it, they had rigged it by putting a hose to fill it and it would move out of place causing water to go everywhere so we attached it. Now 3 months later the entire washer stopped working and is full of water and clothes and will not even drain. I call once again furious and im told they will charge for someone to come fix it in a couple days because they're booked (gee I wonder why), i can take the water out by hand (my wife is disabled so it will be extremely hard) and bring it in to have it fixed that day or by the next day, or have someone come out in a couple days to fix for free but I would not have any warranty on it anymore.
Tips & Advices
If the washing machine is overloaded or all the clothes are packed to one side, the imbalance can cause the washing machine to jerk and shake. These vibrations can be violent enough to slam the machine against other objects, possibly causing damage to its exterior.
Refrigerator coils should be cleaned at least twice a year. Households with pets should clean their refrigerator coils more frequently.
To reduce the risk of foodborne illnesses, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration recommends homeowners set their refrigerators at or below 40 degrees Fahrenheit and their freezers at 0 degrees Fahrenheit.
In terms of operations and upkeep, gas dryers are less expensive than electric. The actual savings depends on the cost of gas vs. electricity in the area. Still, gas dryers heat up faster than electric ones do, making them slightly more energy efficient. However, gas dryers are priced higher than electric ones, so homeowners should prepare to pay more at the outset.
Proper maintenance helps most home appliances last longer. Homeowner's should check their user's manuals for insight on how often to inspect, clean or upgrade their appliances.
