  • A Special Place To Worship ( Family)

A wonderful place to worship. As soon as we walked in people came out of their seats and knowing we where not from there, they just went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. Not pretentious people at all.We saw people wearing shorts and flip flops? And most importantly not judged about it?.

My husband and me where so blessed to finally find a HOME!!! We have been searching and searching and we knew after our first visit we where hook line and sinker? They are so involved in so many programs like Missionaries and Clubs for the congregation to partake in? They encourage to give back to the community and be of service.

It was extremely pleasant to be able to fellowship with such a unique diverse culture of people? The are truly into the word and big on missionary work with Romania,Russia,Africa,Alaska. They truly walk the walk and talk the talk? I would recommend this church to anybody questioning their faith or looking for a home.

A place that you are not judged by what you wear? I saw people in flip flops and pearcings and shorts? I felt finally whew!!! a place where people do not gawk at you ? I really felt secure and not having to live up to any expectations? The elders where real friendly also.

  • People seemed eerily nice but I was disturbed

I have a relative who asked me to tag along while I was in town. We visited Northridge Park Baptist Church. The people were seemed very nice, but kind of ignored me. Maybe it was because I didn't look like them. The building seemed to be falling apart (Go to the bathroom you'll see what I mean). The preaching was very typical and was very politically driven. I was disturbed. Isn't church supposed to be separated from the state? I though non-profits couldn't do that. I know it's a southern baptist church, maybe that had to do something with it. I would avoid that place like the plague.
