World Wide Pest Control
This company ignored humane options for moving bats out of a structure and instead sealed them in with spray foam causing them to die slow and miserable deaths utterly unnecessarily. batworld.org/worldwide-p… You may not like bats, and I'll not use this forum to explain why you should like them, but in the simplest terms, these are animals, not pests. And why leave them terrified trying to escape while suffocating when they could be induced to move rather easily? Why chose this horrible method that leaves dead animals in the walls and ceilings for people to clean up? Why make the tenants of these apartments listen to the desperate scratching of animals trying to survive until they finally died? Can you imagine the outrage if it had been a feral cat colony?

World Wide Pest Control
Entombing bats in their roosts is not only lazy, inhumane and unprofessional, it is an environmental hazard.

World Wide Pest Control
This company uses inhumane and cruel methods to deal with what they consider to be pests. They entomb live bats in foam and leave them to die. Bats are beneficial animals and necessary for insect control. This company should be put out of business.

World Wide Pest Control
These people inhumanely sealed up roosting bats to die in an apartment complex. Please look elsewhere for your pest control needs.

World Wide Pest Control
The work preformed by Worldwide Pest Control at the Sanctuary Loft Apartments was shoddy, barbaric and endangered the lives of the students who found and tried to help the bats that were covered in foam.

These people will come knocking on your door for business. I have signs up announcing my dogs and no soliciting on my front door ! And still they ring the doorbell and pound on the door ! I was sorely tempted to let the dog out

Nature's Own Services
I've used Nature's Own Pest & Lawn on 2 separate occasions. Once for an irritating pest problem in my apartment and another time for a few field mice that somehow found their way in. They handled themselves in a dignified and professional manner. Don't know what would have happened if I didn't use a company as competent as they were. Don't want to think about it honestly!

Tips & Advices
Baits can be effective in situations where you're dealing with a relatively small number of pests. But in cases where there is a full infestation, pest control sprays usually provide a quicker and more thorough solution. Keep in mind, though, that sprays can be toxic to both humans and the environment. In many cases, baiting can be a safer and less hazardous choice.
Yes, many commercial pest control companies offer green products. Certain pest control chemicals can be harmful to both humans and the environment. Some commercial pest control companies use eco-friendly, biodegradable options to keep pests in check, with active ingredients such as mint, rosemary, thyme, boric acid, and diatomaceous earth.
In many cases, pest control methods used in commercial and residential environments are the same, but there may be differences in the way these methods are implemented. For example, both residential and commercial pest control may incorporate pest exclusion, which aims to keep pests out by sealing and securing a building's access points. Since many commercial facilities cover much more space than the typical residence, implementation of this approach would be different.
Commercial pest control differs from residential in the amount of care required. Because many commercial facilities are much larger than the typical home or apartment, commercial pest control often entails more frequent service. While residential pest control usually requires monthly or quarterly service, commercial pest control may take place on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.
Certain pests are common in commercial settings. Rats and mice plague many businesses of all types. In addition to carrying diseases, such as tuberculosis and salmonella, rodents can cause costly damage by gnawing into pipe work and electrical wires. Bed bugs are a growing nuisance. These pests may be found in hotels and student accommodations, and they can even infest office furniture. Flies are commonly found in restaurants, bars, and food factories.
