Ice & Golf Center At Northwoods
Don't waste your money on the soccer league here. No organization what so ever. Crappy communication. Game times and days change almost every week and the only communication is through email less than 24 hours before the time you were told. Coaches are rude and could care less. When asked if they could do a group text or something his response was "I don't use my personal phone for work. Check your email." Coaching is poor and there is no direction given to the 6 and 7 year olds playing. Waste of time and money. Alamo City Youth Soccer is way better and actually teaches the kids how to improve. They actually communicate to parents when needed and don't triple book the field. Yes Northwoods has triple booked the field and had too many teams show up at the same time... This organization is a joke! Don't waste your time or money here!

Malibu Grand Prix San Antonio
The place is deserted. And with good reason. Apparently if it rains any amount--even a quarter of an inch--flooding occurs and they shut everything down for the rest of the day. To add insult to injury, they informed me that my 4-hour unlimited play vouchers (along with a cover letter from that exact location/company name) would not be honored since ownership of the company had changed. What a joke for a business. And a real disappointment for my four-year-old. Go bowling or watch a movie instead.

Main Event Entertainment
We visited the San Antonio store today for my son's birthday. It was just the family celebrating and it started out great. We bowled first and had a great time, then went and ate pizza which was great, fast service, and for a decent price. It went downhill with the laser tag, gravity ropes and arcade. The laser tag, we stood in line for over 15 mins to find out that we had to sign up around the corner before we were supposed to get in line. We were kicked out of line, went a sign up and had to wait an hour to play. We went to play in the arcade and could not believe how much each game cost. I bought a $10 card for each of the children which only lasted a few minutes. I was very disappointed that most games costs close to $2 each. After the hour was up, we went to the laser tag and got back in line, we get to the front to find they double booked that time and even though we were the first to sign up for that time, they could not help our full group. So my mother and niece went to play games and the rest went to play laser tag. When we got in there, there were not enough vest and guns for everyone in our group and the girl did nothing but give us attitude. Telling me I would just have to sign up for another time and the rest of my group was wasting their time, she didn't want to get us a manager and was so rude about everything. The manager finally came over to resolve the issue and did help. However, after that we went to have the kids do the gravity ropes to find out we had to sign up and wait another hour. I was so frustrated with these issues. We spent over $200 for a family in one day and I will never go back. I hope to discourage anyone I can from wasting their time and money there!

Ripley's Believe It Or Not & Louis Tussaud's Wax Works
While in downtown San Antonio today I decided to get a wax hand at Ripley's believe it or not... The young lady that was doing my hand had no communication skills besides telling me to place my hand in wax & water for ($8.99) pink color ($1.00) W/ yellow ($1.00) star ($1.00) i Noticed that my hand wasn't completely pink so I ask if she could redip so it would all be pink.. she did I then noticed that there was a white line on it so I asked the manager if they could fix it, give me discount or something the manager took it back and asked the young lady to fix it which i thought she did when she came back to show it to me with an little attitude she didn't ask if i liked it just showed it to me i looked up and said its ok not knowing that when it dried it was going to have air bubbles and start falling apart. I'm very disappointed that I paid $12.00 + tax for something that's falling apart 4 hrs later.

Kiddie Park
New owners took over the park and renovated it in 2009. The changes they've made are tremendous! This is a safe park that I love taking my children too. I encourage everyone to keep the date in mind when they are reading reviews. The new park is most certainly updated and everyone should go see the changes they've made for the better!

Just a moment...
