Wag N Tails Pet Resort
I took my dog, Molly there. She is a rescue dog with special needs. She freaks out during vet visits. She shakes, she can't control her bowel movements. It is really hard to see her in this condition. She is a cocker spaniel that needs frequent grooming. I was trimming her myself, as she has extreme anxiety going to groomers. She has anti-anxiety medication, but I will not give it to her due to side effects. I saw this groomers (Wag-N-Tails) online. It had okay reviews so I decided to try. I needed her trimmed and her nails clipped. I called first. The lady that answered the phone was very nice and patient. She said they would take really good care of her and gave me an appointment. I showed up with Molly. Molly was a wreck! She was shaking horribly. It is so hard to see her like that, but I needed her nails trimmed and her hair cut. Molly was in my arms, shaking when I walked in. The lady at the counter greeted me and talked to Molly. She was so sweet. She called the groomer from the back (Sarah) and she came out. Sarah was so good with Molly. She petted her, she said what a beautiful dog she was, she reassured me everything would be fine, etc. I was very concerned that Molly would just be awful. Finally, after many reassurances from the lady at the front and Sarah, I let Molly go. Several hours later I got a call from the lady at the front counter. I immediately thought that Molly had been too hard to handle and they needed me to come her up. NO! The lady informed me that Molly had done GREAT and that she was ready to be picked up. Great?!?! I had NEVER heard those words about Molly from a groomer before. I went to pick her up. They brought her from the back and SHE LOOKED AWESOME!!! Her nails were trimmed, her hair cut was EXACTLY PERFECT!!! And the best part of all? Although that was a year ago, EVERY time I say to Molly, "Do you want to go see Sarah?" she wags her tail ready to go. She still HATES her vet, but I have found a groomer for LIFE!! Everyone there is so sweet. I was very nervous, and yet my experience was phenomenal!! And better then that, Molly had a great experience. In the end, if you are looking for a groomer who puts your dog's comfort above everything else, look no further! This place is exactly what you have been looking for!

Groovy Grooming
This the best place to take your beloved pets, whether they be dogs, cats, al most any type of animal that would like groomed, Allen and his staff have the patience, love and take care when grooming your pets. They go above and beyond to provide the care that your animals need, and are professional but fun so when you pick up your animals you know you are leaving them in safe hands...and the end result is excellent and the prices cannot be beat!! I should know because he has also been by my side when my dog became ill in an emergency, he will not be a groomer but is your best friend when it comes to caring for your beloved animals!

Holidawg Pet Resort
I've tried a couple of groomers since I moved here and Holidawg only keeps my dogs long enough to groom them and not 10 hours like one I went to and then was overcharged. Needless to say, I prefer Holidawg. They have two different groomers and I like each of my dogs to use a certain groomer. The price is very reasonable and most importantly, my dogs seem to like going to Holidawg. I've never had a problem with my dogs coming home with ticks or fleas PLUS Holidawg requires PROOF your pets have had their annual shots, unlike the other place I went to that just asked and did not require proof.

The Pets Inn
New place in town. Very clean, very nice staff. Lots of stuff for your pets to do! My Sadie is my pride and joy and it was a good experience for her, so we will be back. The staff here is a lot more friendly and personable than other grooming/boarding facilities we've tried, and they give you a break on price! They get 2 thumbs up from us! Thanks again guys!

Paw Prints Pet Salon
I've been going to Paw Prints for 3 years now. Angela, the owner and groomer is absolutely amazing! I love her and her work. My dog loves her too. She always does a superb job and is VERY reasonable. In fact, she's the cheapest I know of for the awesome, thorough work she does. I was recommended by a friend and I recommend her to everyone

Groovy Grooming
My dog was happy when I dropped her off, and happy when I picked her up. She acted like the whole affair was a lot of fun! The entire staff appears to really care about each animal that comes in, and treats them like their own. Oh, and they did a great job on the haircut too! Awesome experience for my Joy Joy and myself! Thanks y'all!

Groovy Grooming
Best groomer ever!!! Allen is kind, patient and can trim a dog's nails in record time...literally. My daughter's Service Dog, Marcie, is always in good hands with Allen and has also helped my precious daughter when she has any questions or needs doggy advice. Cannot say enough about this great place!

Companion Keepers
For the past three years Leah has taken care of our cats when we leave town. She really understands cars. I have total peace of mind because I know my cats are getting the best care. I also get daily updates. My cats are elderly and need medication, and Leah is able to handle any situation.

Tips & Advices
Pets that do not get along with other animals may incur an additional fee. Some facilities have special solitary sleeping and play animals for these types of pets.
A checklist for what to bring to a pet kennel includes:
  • Vaccination records
  • A favorite toy or blanket
  • Food and feeding instructions (if the pet has dietary restrictions or is a picky eater)
  • Medication (if necessary, in its original bottle and with written instructions)
Some pet kennels have veterinarians as part of their daily staff, while others only have vets part time or on call.
Most kennels can provide basic care such as administering medications, but owners of pets with serious medical issues should choose a facility with a veterinarian on call.
Bordetella, commonly known as kennel cough, is highly contagious, and most dogs catch it at least once in their lifetimes. As such, all dogs should be vaccinated at least 7 days before boarding.
