Clay's Auto Parts & Machine Shop is very rare to find these days. This is a family owned company that cares about the work they accomplish and that the customer is satisfied. Have you ever heard of an owner driving 46 miles to come check out problem with part you had machined. Most would tell you to pull the engine and bring it back in. Even more rare is this person had his own family emergency going on and he still drove out to look at our problem. We had talked several times over the phone going over what the problem could be;however we could just not see it. Clay showed up and he caught our mistake instantly. If you need a machine shop or any kind of auto parts this is the place to go as this man and his company are very knowledgeable, patient and will go that extra mile to insure their product.

Chris at Two Ten is the best tuner in the San Antonio area. I've had two Mustangs tuned by him and he is a stand up guy that is very knowledgeable and will not steer you wrong. He is very fair and will not overcharge you. I highly recommend taking your Mustang to him for whatever needs you may have.

I had a TPI system installed on 1986 El Camino, the installation was done on time and has worked flawlessly since that time, over 50,000 miles. Car was even certified by State of California Smog referee after returned from picking it up. Traci and Don kept me up to date during the time the car was at their shop, yes that is correct I drove from the Napa Valley in California to have these folks perform the installation for me. I am working with them at the present time regarding an installation on one of my other vehicles. In my book it is worth the drive to have them perform the upgrades. Tim T

Jon save my day. My kawasaki Vulcan had a clutch problem and the same day that he got the bike towed to his shop, he emailed with what the problem was, and the cost to repair it. He did the work as promised and could not be happier. Great mechanic, honest and would highly recommend his shop.

Overall a Good Experience. Some caveats: The Real Good: The mechanics of the garage/repair shop are top notch and know their trade. The shop will also make good on any repairs that need additional work. Roy, Garage Shop Manager (and maybe owner), knows about various cars, has excellent mechanic expertise, and is a top notch mechanic. He is an ASE Certified Master Mechanic. The shop has a variety of cars they work on from classic cars to modern race autos. Roy and company will allow you to ask questions and provide you with honest service. The Somewhat Good: There are high costs exceeding MSRP on some parts. A respectful suggestion: Alamo Performance should cultivate their customer base and offer discounts, consider less mark up on services and parts for returning customers, and attempt to inform the customer what repairs may possibly cost to keep repeat customers. The high costs mentioned here are offset by the excellent quality of work and the honesty of the shop. It's a trade-off and is an expensive hobby but I highly recommend Roy and his shop.
