Tezel Oaks Family Dental
Excellent, caring doctor and staff. Very very professional and very friendly. They are experts in their field. Make you feel like you are part of their family. Had dental work done and it was a breeze, no issues whatsoever. I recommend them both for children and adults. Dr Vargas is a great doctor and has an awesome personality.

Donald D Dilworth PA
I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Dilworth for a second opinion regarding my daughter. I was told by the scheduler that we would be the first appointment after lunch so I accepted the the noon appointment. At around 12:50 I stepped out of the room and asked the nurse how much longer before the doctor would see us. My daughter is a student and had to return to school for a test. The nurse could not answer my question so we decided to leave. I commented to the staff that if Dr. Dilworth spends an hour with patients then they should schedule appointments on the hour instead of every 15 minutes. As we were waiting for a school note, Dr. Dilworth approaches us and tells us he could see us now and get us out in 15 minutes. First of all, if he was spending an hour with another patient, I would expect the same in my case, not rush us out in 15 minutes. To even suggest that is grossly incompetent and highly unprofessional. Secondly, I would expect more than 15 minutes especially if I am looking for a second opinion and possibly letting him perform surgery on my daughter. Lastly, I told him that if this is the way he runs his office then I did not want this opinion and certainly would not trust him to operate on my daughter.

The Dr. that works in the hospital for wound care is horrible. He either is incompatant or is a crook.

RediClinic Stone Ridge
Tuesday 2:15 in the afternoon. At 281 and Evan, had been to this Clinic before and would give high 10 rating. Today I was there at 2:15, another lady with a child was there at 2:00. Sign said they would be back at 3:00. 3:30 came and the ladies walked in. The front office girl had an attitude, and said the sign should have said 3:30. I guess I would love an 1 1/2 hour lunch. She said I guess you did not make an appointment on line. Shoved an IPad in our hands, as we both got to the last page it said we would not be seen until 4:30. She said people made appointments on line, and they do not take walk inns. 1 st time in the last 4 years I ever heard this. I told her no one else was here, why could they not see one of us? She said I could wait and see if someone did not show up or I should have made an appointment. I manage a doctor's office, I would fire this person for speaking to a patient this way. I will never go back if that front office staff is there. But the doctor or PA never even said boo to us either. I would not even give this a 1 rating Not professional at all

Dr. Roberto Trevino Jr, MD
I tried setting up an appointment with this doctor after finding out my current provider no longer took my insurance and he was assigned as my PCP. After going in to sign a release for my information I called a few days later to make an appointment for a regular check up and to get a referral to have my annual woman's exam. The receptionist was a complete nightmare. She starts off by questioning me why I haven't been to a doctor in a year and that the doctor doesn't want to make an appointment or referrals if I'm not going to comply. This person doesn't know me at all and she accusing me of not wanting reliable health care. First off I explained that my provider, who I had been going to consistently for the last 4-6yrs, no longer takes my insurance and I needed a new provider, secondly I'm a relatively heathy person and only need to go to the doctor once a year for regular check ups. I ask if I can receive the doctors services or not and she goes into a rant about how because I was offended by her absurd accusations that means I don't deserve healthcare services. Do not go to this doctor, dealing with his receptionist alone will have you cringing. Now I am back to square one trying to find a reliable health care provider with quality customer service.

Tips & Advices
The most common dental problems in children are:
  • Cavities
  • Bad breath
  • Gum disease
  • Sensitive teeth
  • Grinding
  • Canker sores
  • Missing teeth
  • Extra teeth
  • Bite and alignment issues
Thumb sucking is not specifically a dental problem, but it can cause a malocclusion, a condition where the top and bottom teeth don't line up correctly.
To clean a baby's teeth, use a small, soft-bristled toothbrush designed specifically for infants. Apply a tiny amount of non-fluoride toothpaste - about the size of a grain of rice - and gently brush all sides of the teeth and the tongue. Before the baby's first teeth emerge, use gauze or a wet washcloth wrapped around the finger to wipe the gums. This motion doesn't necessarily reduce bacteria, but it does help the infant to get used to the sensation of having his or her teeth cleaned.
Children should visit their pediatric dentist every six months. This recommended frequency does not change throughout a person's lifetime.
No, wisdom teeth do not need to be removed unless they cause pain, lead to dental issues, or are aligned incorrectly.
Yes, dental sealants prevent cavities by filling in deep grooves in the teeth. Without them, bacteria can collect in these areas and cause tooth decay, which can happen with children.
