My son has attended NWHCS for 4 years and we love this school. It is small but new and clean. The classrooms are large but the teacher/student ratio is small. Every child has a name-the administrators and teachers know all the students. The curriculum is ABEKA and although there is usually lots of homework, my son has learned so much! Along with academics, my son has learned about the Lord, about patience and kindness. It feels really good to know each morning is started with a prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance. Although we sometimes struggle to pay the tuition, it is worth every penny.

This was my son's first school year 2010-2011 here at St John Berchmans. He was very happy and so was I. The School Principal, Mrs Abbott, and all the school staff are so compassionate and understanding to any situation you may be in. These people are true Educators and really care for our children. They don't require you to too may fundraisers. They give you credits hours for helping out in anyway you can, whether you bring extra drinks, supplies, or anything They truly understand your situation. I have come across many parents that have come from others schools and they have stated that they have left because of too many fundraisers and not being able to see teachers that really care. If you are looking for a great education for your child, give them a chance at ST. JOHN BERCHMANS. I'm very happy that I did.

They have on average 14 years of experience teaching children. The administration and staff from the Principal to the school nurse are caring and professional. The school offers honors classes for the upper units and tutoring for those student with special acadmeic needs. SGS offers interesting core class options including yoga! SGS is one of the few schools to begin teaching a secondary language (Spanish), and computer science to the pre-kinder classes!Extra-curricular activites are incredibly diverse! The school truly enriches the students both in and out of the classroom. As a former student of St. Gregory the Great, I can honestly say that some of my best experiences in eduction happened while attending SGS. While I am no longer a student, I remain a parishoner of the St. Gregory Parish and have had the opportunity to watch the school grow and continue to blossom. St. Gregory the Great School is the best choice for a holisitc education that will education your son or daughter both morally and academically!!!

well first of all the gym in there smells really bad like itz never really kept up with.the bleachers are all cracked up and need to get replaced!there are bugs, mice, lizards, and posseums.everywhere.there are leaks in the hallways so they put towels on the floor or trashcans instead of fixing the problem.there is mold growing on the ceilings in classrooms, restrooms, and the lockerooms.and there would be for instance nacho cheese on the gym doors that stayed there for like 3months and not get cleaned. And in there water fountains they have to put a little bit of chlorine in it in order for students to drink from them because it would be dirty water then.and on the schools website it is false advertisement it says they are a credited school but there not.I know this from someone attending it.the other bad thing is there arent many extra curricular sports and no electives for your child. And they would do anything at that school to make a buck like if they tell you you can dress out you have to pay a dollar.and etc.

We did not have a good experience with the administration at Holy Name as it was difficult to establish times to meet with the principal and with certain teachers. Several times I felt the principal put attendance numbers ahead of any problem solving or any steps towards enhancing the school environment for the children. I would suggest to anyone that they research other Catholic or Public schools. There are a number of good ones out there that do communicate well with parents and students and who actually have more computers and resources for their children. I would look for a school that values students and has a college-bound emphasis.....From Concerned Parent
