DisappointedMy husband and I have been displeased with the quality of our son's care at this school. Once we found another child wearing his clothes, another time his sippy cup went untouched all day. Regularly we found him with food all over his face and clothes, and his diaper full. In the 4 months attended, there was a lot of turnover with both teachers and teaching assistants (2 teachers and 3 assistants), and no communication about the changes from the school. In fact, it was 2 weeks before we knew our son's teacher no longer worked there (there is an aide present when we drop him off and pick him up). We ended up having to call the school to ask about his teacher because when we went to pick him up, the aide was also new. The school did a poor job of communicating with us regarding what our son did during the day (ie how he slept, what he worked on, how he ate). The information we were able to get separately from his teacher and teacher's aide were rarely consistent. When asked if we could get occasional reports on our son's activities during the week, we were told that wasn't "Montessori". When my son stopped attending, we were informed by the head of the school that his teacher was unable to work with him because he only attended 2 full days a week (he is 2 years old and my husband stays at home with him). I wish we had known that from the beginning; we would have chosen a school that was willing to teach our child on a 2 days/week schedule. We are seeking educational enrichment for our son to break up the time he stays at home, not a drop-off daycare. All in all, disappointed with our experience; it was not at all what was presented to us when we met the teachers and toured the school.
I have studied the Bible for almost 50 years with over 30 of that in the ministry. It was my privilege to be introduced to Ariel Ministries at a prophecy conference in 1979. This was soon after I had left seminary where I had sat under the some of the same professors that Dr. Fruchtenbaum has studied with during his time at Dallas Theological Seminary and later some who had been his professors. Those some of them were critical of his stance on certain areas of prophecy they did not offer a better explanation of the issue. For almost 20 years I met a number of people, both scholars and those in the pews, who were aware of his teaching and they seemed to be mostly skeptical of his offering. In the last ten years there has been a major change in what I have been hearing. I have seen Dr. Fruchtenbaum's writings on many pastor's shelves and his writings quoted in many of the articles that I have read.It has been my privilege to host Dr. Fruchtenbaum in my home and the churches that I have pastored. For the last fourteen years I have served as the Protestant Chaplain at a California State Prison. Arnold has, on three occasions, delivered seminiars on the Word of God to the inmates at the prison. His materials are the most popular of all that they can obtain from the chapel libraries.Of all of the teachers I have been privileged to study under, Arnold has been to one that has opened my understanding of the Bible. I would encourage anyone who is serious aobut their Bible study to contact Ariel on the phone or at www.ariel.org.
We have been here almost 3 years. Our son has grown from shy to confident. He has learned how to read and is now beginning to write and he is only 4. Additionally, when we have parent lesson nights, he loves to show us new things he has learned in class, whether it is a new song, the letters of the alphabet, his numbers, or that he is now learning Spanish. He constantly refers to his classmates as "friends" and looks forward to seeing them every day.All of his teachers are involved with growing the children and it feels more like a family than just a regular school. Ms. Rosemary, his current teacher, has been teaching for more than 30 years, is a published author, and her love for teaching and children is evident. Ms. Inez, his first teacher, has been teaching for more than 10 years, is always laughing and smiling and the children respond to her. The Director, Ms. Lage, has over 35 years of experience and is wonderful. She has a daily presence at the school and is committed to ensuring that Pinnacle exceeds parents expectations. I would recommend this school to anyone who wants to see their child grow in a warm, fun, and welcoming environment.A very satisfied parent (Eric)
