Primo Medical Supplies
We were in the market for a rubber threshold ramp which was 3 inches thick. I wanted to purchase locally than buying it online. So made some trips and have comes across this product at primo medical store. We got the rubber ramp along with a lift chair as well. We weren't really shopping for a lift chair recliner but we have tried a few at this medical supply store and liked it. We bought the one with the leather along with jobst compression stockings. They have a lot of cool stuff as well. The ramp, medical chair recliner and compression stocking are all good. Started recommending it to friends and family already.

Tezel Oaks Family Dental
Excellent, caring doctor and staff. Very very professional and very friendly. They are experts in their field. Make you feel like you are part of their family. Had dental work done and it was a breeze, no issues whatsoever. I recommend them both for children and adults. Dr Vargas is a great doctor and has an awesome personality.

We rented a lift chair for my grand mother and once she liked it. We have bought a new lift chair with leather exterior as she was incontinent. The cloth chair wouldn't work for her. It was a golden technologies zero gravity lift chair and also bought a hip kit as she had a knee surgery.

GCAM Plasma Center
As a donor of more than 600 combined donations from a few centers over the years. I hope my opinion is taking seriously to better benefit the public. My opinion is based on actual facts not slanderous behavior. There was a lady that worked at the front desk early in this year of 2017 and she had a attitude with me and said I was dressed too appropriate to donate at that center and said also that she is not allowed to defer me for being dressed like I was so she was going to defer me by saying I had a odor and I was shocked by all this when she told me that because I felt like I had been judged as a upity stuck up person in which I am not at all and I explained to the lady that I was only dressed so nice because I just got out of a job interview. So one thing lead to another and I asked to speak with the manager and when he called me to the booth and asked what was wrong I explained and he said that he all she told him was that I had a odor and I asked him do you smell anything wrong with me to defer me from a donation and he said no but that other peoples noses might be more sensitive than his. So I left and came back the next day all freshly showered and clean and that same lady said again I had a odor and so basically I stopped donating there and I found a better paying and friendlier staff and company at a different plasma center not far from that center so end result I still win and I been donating without any issues at all.

Primo Medical Supplies
We rented a fully electric hospital bed for a couple months, then we bought an underbed table and are planning to purchase a sliding shower bench. Primo is an excellent company to do business with. Prices are good, they carry quality merchandise, they are helpful, knowledgeable and flexible. Their delivery person, who is very pleasant, assembled and explained how to use the equipment and answered all our questions.

I needed a new CPAP mask about 10 months ago. Lincare did not carry it yet so I bought one myself from an online supplier who did have one. Lincare had an order for my mask but they have never shipped it in 10 months.I started trying to get another new one. Lincare said they had no order which I knew they had had 10 months ago. Then the lies started. Doctor faxed the order 3 times--they kept saying they did not get it. When the lies got deep enough, the young woman I was talking to started to refuse to take my calls. The newest one I talked to said they cannot open any faxes that come in so they don't know if it ever came in. A little weird but... She said the doctor needed to fax it to the national distribution center. I called them to see if they had gotten a fax. They said you have to order through the local office. But, no problem, it was shipped last Thursday . Two days later and other supplies arrived but no mask!I give up! I am going to call my doctor tomorrow and find another company to do business with.

Primo Medical Supplies
Rented a medical bed with a hanging bar so that my grandpa can position himself on the bed. They have delivered all the medical equipment in a timely fashion. Also rented a wheelchair with elevated leg rests and bought a toilet seat riser. Nice and friendly atmosphere.

Tips & Advices
One study cited by the National Institutes of Health found only 1.2 percent of blood donors experienced any kind of adverse reaction from giving blood. The most common side effects from giving blood are relatively mild:
  • Lightheadedness upon standing is common. Donors are encouraged to rest for at least 15 minutes after the procedure while drinking water and eating a small snack. Some donors find they become nauseous after the procedure, but this should subside quickly.
  • Pain and some bruising around the injection site is common. Pain should be mild, but it is normal for bruising to persist for several days.
  • For a few days afterward, the loss of blood may induce dizziness or feelings of weakness when performing strenuous activity. Donors are advised to avoid physical exertion for 24 hours after the procedure, and to be cautious when exercising for the following week.
Very rarely, blood donors may vomit or faint immediately after the procedure. This is generally benign and will resolve itself within hours. Donors should seek medical attention if they experience significant pain or tingling in their arm and around the injection site, or if bruising does not subside within a week. If a donor shows signs of a cold or flu in the days following the procedure, they should call the blood center since this may make the blood sample unsafe to use.
By definition, blood donation is voluntary and done without compensation. Some blood banks do offer cash or other rewards for giving blood. Whether donors are paid or not, blood banks typically serve as intermediaries between blood sources and hospitals. Even voluntarily donated blood is usually tested, separated and sold to medical services for use in blood transfusions and other procedures.
Blood donations are considered safe when performed by trained professionals who follow all the necessary procedures. In healthy donors, side effects are generally mild (see below), and serious complications are rare.
Different organizations have their own restrictions on who is eligible to give blood. The most common requirements stipulate donors must be old enough to give legal consent (17 in most states) and should be in good physical health. Most organizations prohibit donations from people with diseases that can be transmitted through blood, such as HIV and hepatitis. Beyond that, organizations may prevent donations from people who have traveled to or lived in certain countries where there is a greater risk of disease. There might be additional restrictions in place as eligibility for blood donation is at the sole discretion of the organization collecting it.
Blood centers typically  allow eligible donors to undergo a whole blood donation once every 16 weeks (56 days). Donations through apheresis are allowed every seven days, up to 24 times per year.
