Will never sell here again. I've been selling since 2012 without any problems. However, recently I dropped off an expensive item that was "donated to charity" with out any alert or notice. When I called about it, the owner, Tiffany, was very rude and seemed unconcerned that just like that, they got rid of my item. I understand they have many consignors, but that doesn't seem to excuse the fact that they got rid of my item and seemed unwilling to work around that, aside from offering a tax write off. As it stands, I'll settle for a review for now in hopes of warning others. I consign frequently to a lot of stores around the Salt Lake area and can't imagine any one else doing something like this. Please take your business elsewhere.
My late husband worked here, he was treated so badly when he was almost killed in a car accident!! The doctor treating my husband mistakenly sent a letter , it was supposed to explain my husbands injuries and why he wouldn't be able to work for at least 2 - 3 months, the wrong letter got faxed to this business!! My husband had compound fractures in his foot, and other injuries that would heal - but would take a little time!! The managers "chose" to fire him for it!! He did not ask for a drunk 20 year old kid to T-bone him at approximately 40 -45 miles an hour, my husband got the worst compound fracture in his foot from trying to stop his vehicle before this kid came running through a red light - his foot was pushing on the brake so hard at the time of impact, that when the engine was being shoved into the inside of the vehicle - that the engine being shoved into the car snapped his foot directly mid-foot and the bone breaking through the skin!! Our son was in the car with his dad at the time, they were hit so hard, the seatbelt he was wearing, failed and put him almost all the way through the windshield!! We fought my husbands being fired!! The management told a ton of lies about my husband, we had 3 years worth of "outstanding employment" papers from his bi-yearly manager reviews, telling what a great employee he was!! But when the hearing came up about my husband being fired, the managers sat and told how my husband was a terrible employee and that is why they fired him!! We didn't know at the time all this happened that in 2 months from this hearing, we would find out that my husband would be dying and very soon from bone cancer - part of the reason his normally strong bones had broken like they did!! To make things even worse for me - the managers all had the nerve to send a plant with a card signed by all of them with comments - telling me how much they had loved my husband, how much they had missed him working there - it was horrible!!
