I've never had such a dedicated salesman as Hyrum Strong. As someone that shops around a lot to make sure I get the best deal possible, let me assure you that Hyrum will do everything in his power to get you an amazing deal. Which is made possible by all the rebates that Ken Garff is willing to do.I was sold on Hyundai (especially the Elantras) in 2010 when I did months of research to find out what would be the best car for me. Elantras have won numerous awards for safety and just generally being amazing vehicles. I learned back then that Hyundai's are generally less expensive to repair than, say, the Honda I had been tempted by. They're incredibly reliable. I put 70,000 miles on my 2010, and never had to do any repairs. At an average of 32 miles per gallon, you're only really going to beat the fuel economy by going hybrid (which you could get a hybrid Sonata, by the way). What I didn't realize when I meandered onto the lot was how much Elantras have changed in the four years since I bought my first. Hyrum was very well educated on the new features that Hyundai has adopted. But it wasn't just that which made Hyrum an excellent person to work with, it was the fact that he listened. When I explained that I suck at backing up, he responded by showing me the upgrade from the base model that has a back up camera. When I said I didn't need certain features, we moved on to the car that had what I'd asked for. I don't like being sold things I don't need, and I didn't need to ever explain that to Hyrum. He taught me the pros and cons of features instead of just proclaiming that I needed it all.I don't think I need to go off on all of the features Hyundai has added (since Hyrum can do that for you). I would like to mention, though, that Hyrum taught me how to use the features. Instead of just saying "The new Elantras have Shiftronic!" he explained to me what it was. I think we've all had experiences with salespeople that didn't really know much about the product. I had the opposite experience with Hyrum, he knew about each of the features and was able to point them out on our test drive.Having said all this, I have one final word of praise to give Hyrum. Patience. He had to wait for me as I called my dad, then my mom, then my brother, then my brother in law.... and then wait for my mom to arrive on the scene with the intent (which she admitted immediately) of talking me out of buying a new car. A typical salesman would try to get me away from my mom, the dissenter. Or they would have warped things to be in their favor. But Hyrum showed that he truly wanted what was best for me. He could see that I had the situation handled and didn't try to get in between us, and offered help when I needed it. And in the end... my mom agreed it was the best decision to make. She even offered me money to help out with buying the car.A good salesman is looking out for you, making sure that you're pleased, not only with the experience, but with the result. Hyrum has made sure that I'm taken care of. When I've had questions about the car, he's been more than happy to answer them. I am in love with my car, and Ken Garff Hyundai has made a life long customer.

I bought my BMW from them. It drives like a dream! When I took it on a Test Drive I noticed that the spark plug light was on. I decided to buy the car. In the contract they said that after service dept. looks at car If they see they need replacing they will do so. It has been 7 months since I bought the car, during that time I only put maybe 2,000 miles. This month I put a long drive on the car out to Oregon. I started having a lot of issues with the car. Mostly just small things. One of the problems was the spark plug light and also ma misfire. The shop showed me the plugs and said they need replacing. I was hmm, I guess the service guys did not change them. After a call back to Ken Garff Hyundai, I spoke to the main guy, and guess what; he is making good and paying to have them to be replaced!!! Yea they didnt do it the first time and they could of told me to kick rocks its been 7 months. This is why customer service is top notch here. Thanks guys!!!

This is our second elantra we have purchased from ken garff in the last couple of years. We went there to look at new cars and because of hyrums excellent salesmanship we bought a new elantra. He was not pushy but very knowledgable about the car. Hyrum made it possible to make our finances work. He is very friendly too. Hyrum is an asset to ken garff. I would recommend everyone to see hyrum when purchasing a new vehicle.

My wife and purchased a 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe from Ken Garff. The vehicle and sales staff were both top notch! Hyrum Darger and other members of the Ken Garff Team were friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. Ken Garff's new approach to having one person take you through the whole process is a winner, not to mention time saver! Thanks, this was my second Hyundai purchase in the last three years. We'll be back!

Didn't love it. Not a great experience. I have to sell the car I bought a few weeks ago, and am quickly discovering that their promise of "the lowest price in town" is totally false. I feel pretty scammed. I will not be recommending this dealership to friends or family. In fact, I've already told a couple friends and co-workers to go elsewhere for their car buying.

Melissa Felis - State Farm Insurance Agent
I have been with Melissa for over 15 years as my agent. Any time I call (which is rare) and talk with her she remembers who I am. I'm not a number with Melissa and her agency, I am a good friend. They are always eager to help and willing to go the extra mile. The best part about Melissa Felis and her agency is that I can trust them, and you can to.

Salt City Insurance Group
Salt City Insurance was able to get me lower rates than I've ever paid for my home, auto and life policies. I've recommended them to my friends and family because their rates and customer care can't be beat! My father is a mortgage broker and my husband is a real estate agent and there is no one else that they recommend to their clients.

Tips & Advices
By law, you need to be insured up to the minimum amount required in your state before getting behind the wheel of any car. Beyond that, your insurance needs will vary depending on your financial situation and the amount of risk you are willing to take on.
  • Full or comprehensive car insurance is the most expensive, but often the best deal for drivers who own an expensive car, those who commute frequently or anyone who lives in an area with extreme weather or high crime rates.
  • Drivers of less expensive or older cars usually save more by opting for the minimum required policy, along with some extra coverage if they can afford it. Since the cost of repairs might exceed the total value of an older vehicle, some owners forgo collision protection in favor of greater liability coverage or personal injury coverage.
If someone other than you causes an accident while driving your car, most insurance policies will still pay for damage, according to the rules that apply. However, it’s a good idea to check with the insurance provider to be sure this is the case. Regardless, either the at-fault driver or the actual policyholder will be responsible for paying for anything not covered by insurance. People who don’t own a car but frequently borrow or rent one might consider purchasing a non-owner policy to make up the difference.
Car insurance premiums might be tax deductible in certain situations, but only with the documentation to prove it. Insurance costs may be deducted as part of overall business expenses if you use that car for work-related travel. However, this does not generally apply to taxpayers who use the standard deduction when filing their income tax returns. If your car is used for business purposes often, save all insurance-related documentation, as well as receipts, invoices and other forms of proof that your vehicle expenses were for business purposes.
Car insurers set premium prices depending on every driver’s individual risk. A huge number of details are factored into every determination of insurance risk, so the cost of any two policies can vary widely depending on the driver’s personal attributes, accident history, location, vehicle type and much more. The type of coverage you choose also impacts what you pay - premiums for minimal liability coverage will almost always be lower than those of a universal coverage policy.
The cost of car insurance is highly variable, but according to the National Association of Insurance Commissioners, U.S. motorists pay around $900 per year on auto insurance.
