Storage Plus
The storage units were really well-priced compared to competitors. Premises were secured well, as well as easy to access.

Safe Harbor Self Storage
Storage prices are great. Customer service is good for the most part. The only bad thing I have to say about is one of their staff Dean. He is be far unprofessional, rude and temper mental. Get rid of this guy. Everything else is awesome.

YOUR ITEMS ARE NOT SAFE HERE! My storage unit was broken into and all of my boxes had been gone through thoroughly. Everything of value was taken. While filing a police report I learned that there was a large break in a few weeks ago involving multiple units where a classic car was stolen. But my items are gone. Just gone...Things that cannot be replaced by money. Gone. Take my word this is not a secure site. Take my word-YOUR ITEMS ARE NOT SAFE!

STOR-N-LOCK Self Storage
Work slowed down, got behind one month had to pay $40 in fees plus rent for that month. Next month rent due on the 1st, getting paid this weekend, went to get in they locked me out! It's only the 3rd and the first of the late fees don't kick in until the 6th! Which I would have it paid on that day! What the heck! If you're going through seasonal slow downs or rough patches don't use these people!!!!

Bestway Self Storage
I rented this unit for 3 years because I had to live abroad. When I was ready to move out, it was only 3 days into the new/next month. I asked Bestway if they could prorate the 3 days and help me out. They said NO, it was NOT company policy. I would have to pay for the whole month (which had increased in the amount, the 3rd increase in 3 years) even tho I only needed 3 x-tra days. Also, be aware that the unit I was in did not stop the dust and dirt from coming into the unit. It was a filthy mess!! I don't think the Manager understands how to give good customer service!!

STOR-N-LOCK Self Storage
Storing my RV at this facility. Security is good. I feel secure and don't worry about it. Had it at another storage place and it got broken into. Nothing has happened here. The managers live on site and seem to be really watchful. When I took my RV out for a weekend trip - they called me just to make sure everything was ok. I appreciate that - makes me feel secure. Facility is clean and well lighted. Always get a hearty welcome when I come in to pay my bill. Highly recommend.

Safe Harbor Self Storage
https I’ve had a storage unit with Safe Harbor storage for 10+ years. Mostly for seasonal decorations, snow shovels, and stuff we didn’t need part time out of the year. I choose them because they are by far one of the least expensive places and they were close to where I lived. Storage is storage and no one thinks about it unless something happens. After a decade of smooth sailing something did happen and I can reassure you that Safe Harbor is the place to be because of its’ management team. People always make the difference and Ryan and his staff called me at home, met with me on site after hours, and gave me personal cell numbers to go above and beyond what I expected. I recommend using Safe Harbor Storage with no reservations and thank them for their superior service and personal touch.

Tips & Advices
Many storage unit companies provide moving equipment that you can use to help maneuver your belongings. This equipment might be available for rental, and some storage companies will loan certain items to you at no charge. The range of options can include items such as push carts and dollies.
Storage units allow vehicle storage, and you'll typically need to rent an outdoor unit to facilitate this process. An outdoor storage unit that accommodates vehicles may have its own walls and door, or it may be a covered unit that's partitioned with wire mesh. Another option is to rent covered storage for your vehicle. With covered storage, your vehicle is stored in a space that is shared with other vehicles. These spaces are similar to parking spaces in a secure lot.
There are certain differences that separate indoor and outdoor storage units. Indoor storage units are often housed in secure facilities, and they offer perks such as climate control. These units are the best choice for sensitive and valuable items, since they offer protection from pests, weather, and intruders. Outdoor storage units are usually much larger than indoor units, and they often offer drive-up access to each unit. Outdoor storage units are excellent for storing larger items such as furniture, boats, and cars.
Storage unit rental fees do not include property insurance for stored items. Storage facilities are typically protected by insurance, but this coverage only applies to the building itself, and not the contents of the storage units. Your homeowners insurance might provide coverage for your stored items. Storage insurance is also available, and premiums typically start at roughly $7 per month for $1,000 worth of coverage.
The minimum rental period for most storage units is one month. Some storage facilities offer promotions and discounts that require a longer minimum rental period for discounts to be redeemed. For example, a storage facility might offer the first month of rental free with a two-month minimum.
