Side Door Deli
The prices are way to high. I order a BLT and it cost me $7.48. The BLT had 2 pieces of bacon, 1 slice of tomato cut in half, and 1 leaf of lettuce. Also, when they cut the sandwich in half they used a dirty knife as I has something red all over the bread where they cut. This is cross contamination. The specials are always the same and the soups are nasty and out of date.

PoFolks Restaurant
I was visiting my sister st from Venice to attend church ,4/9/17 with my sister & a quick lunch. Very busy after church crowd. When we were escorted to our two top table that is located in the path of a door way, I asked for another table & the hotess and manager refused to allows us to sit at another table across from where we were sitting. To say the least we left.I'll never go there again. The food maybe good. Hotess & manager suck!!!

I'm a regular at the Derby several times a week , but every time I visit the service is poor at best . The ticket clerks need to be taught the word " hospitality " and how to treat paying customers . Thank goodness for the ticket machines because without the machines I would not frequent the Derby as much. Un-friendly , rude and expect a tip with every ticket transaction ? "To tip " is for Good service ! If the Derby Lane employees don't enjoy their jobs dealing with the paying public get another job.But this really all falls on Management ....they have had to receive many many complains from locals and visitors.I go even if I'm not winning and it's just an added insult to be treated poorly but Derby Lane employees .Fix it !!!!

Black Forest Cottage
This is a very authentic German restaurant. The crepes, with a topping range from everything from Brie cheese and jam to fruit and herbs, are to die for. The entire restaurant is lined with authentic German trinkets and books, and is quite homey. I highly recommend Black ForestCottage for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

Punkys Bar & Grill
Went to the soft opening last night. The food is great and made to order and never sits out. So you till wait a little longer. But it is SO SO worth the wait. The meatloaf sandwich is awesome and the pulled pork is as well and have a great list of sides. The appetizers are a must try. The fried green tomato's and the cheese bombs and the mild buffalo boneless wings are all a must try. YOU MUST try the Punky's Special Sauce. It is a kicked up Ranch Sauce that I wanted to bottle and put on the store shelf today for sale. This is a everyone one open minded welcome bar and is open starting today 12/16/2015. The hours are Sunday to Thursday 11:00am to Midnight and Friday and Saturday 11:00am to 3:00pm. They will have drink specials as well. They will soon have drag bingo and open mic night and lost of great entertainment. There is lots of parking and great mixed open minded crowd. This beats the socks off of Hamburger Mary's. The food at Punky's just closed your doors. Drop the mic.

Punkys Bar & Grill
I know it just opened, however the bartenders were SLOW. So many patrons waited for a drink she was so slow and did not seem to care. There were so many employees running around into each other. So disorganized and unfriendly. Wine is overpriced for what they serve. After waiting for 20 minutes for a beer and wine we decided NOT to eat. Overnight, too crowded as can't move around. Stay seated type of place. Good luck but doubt it

Sylvia's Soul Food
Restaurant was very clean and upscale. Our server Jalissa was extremely pleasant and attentive. Fried chicken was delicious and large portions but collard greens and Mac n cheese won me over
Tips & Advices
Basic screen-door fixes can be pretty cheap, and most can be DIY fixes. Replacing a door closer can cost less than $15. Door hinges and latches are usually less than $10, unless you are getting really fancy. You’ll probably only need a basic screwdriver and possibly some screws or shims. Replacing the mesh can be more difficult, so weigh the value of mesh replacement vs. full door replacement when considering the actual screen replacement.
Screen door installation, for a standard swinging door (not a sliding screen), is relatively inexpensive. Depending on your area, expect to pay $50-$100 for installation costs. The doors themselves are usually inexpensive and can be as low as $40 (beware of the quality). If you are handy around the house, installing a screen door can be a great DIY opportunity.
A screen-door closer, or a pneumatic cylinder, is a device connecting the screen door to the door jamb. It is usually located at the top of the door and is designed to close the screen door automatically after opening. They can be easily adjusted to quicken or slow the door’s closing speed.
To stop a screen door from slamming shut, adjust the door closer, usually located at the top of the door. There is a cylinder inside the door closer that controls how fast or slow the door closes, and it is usually adjustable with a simple screw driver. If adjusting makes no difference, the door closer might be faulty and need replacing – a low-cost DIY project that requires minimal time and tools.
The most common cause of a sagging screen door is loose or worn hinge screws that attach the screen to the door frame. If they are loose, you can tighten them yourself. A loose latch between the door and the door frame is also a common cause of sagging. Again, check the screws and tighten them up if they’re loose.
