Mario's Pizza
The white garlic with ricotta, spinach and tomato pizza is to die for! We've tried it elsewhere and, despite a bit more of a drive (we moved), Mario's is just the best! We've spent a good bit of time in Italy and know good pizza. We're grateful to finally find a place in St Pete that can compete with the pies in Naples!

Mario's Pizza
I have been coming here for years! The guys who run it are great! Every day I come in to work, Petsmart next door, I am greeted by the staff! I go there for my lunch break and over the past few months I've tried new things from their menu and it's truly fantastic how customizable and fairly priced everything is! When you can walk into a restaurant and be greeted by name, they know your favorites, and the food is impeccable then it's truly a treat. These guys truly have a huge heart and care about you as the customer and care about their art, the food.

Pizza Hut
Really disappointed in Pizza Hut (4598 34th Street South, St. Petersburg, FL 33711)... The free pizza they sent to make up for my last pizza I ordered not having cheese on the center of the pizza (I''m guessing due to some sort of bubble during baking) had the SAME ISSUE. I expected them to take pride in their food and at least correct their errors, but my expectations were apparently too high. Not to mention that when I called to report the error the last time, they told me that the stuffed crust pizza typically has less cheese on it than the regular pizza to compensate for the cheese in the crust. Um... isn't that why you pay more for stuffed crust?? I used to get perfectly cheesey, un-bubbled stuffed crust pizzas from #PizzaHut but not anymore. I love my stuffed crust pizza, but I guess I will have to switch back to #PapaJohns, since they know how to make a pizza without ruining it.

Papa John's Pizza
This Papa Johns sucks!!! Being Papa Johns lovers for a long time, we expected nothing less than a delicious, hot pizza within the time promised. What we got tonight was an unethical, careless, and unbelievable representation of a great company. This location has shamed the Papa Johns name and will ruin experiences to come if left unrecognized. I'm in town visiting family and we decided to have a pizza night. I called and ordered and was told it would be ready for pick-up in 15-25 minutes. My sister left ten minutes after the order was placed and arrived within 15 minutes, meaning it had been at least 20 minutes since ordering. She paid for the order with a $100 bill, and since they didn't have enough in the register, a male employee pulled out a huge wad of $20's to compensate. Then she waited. And waited...and waited for a good 15 minutes after arriving. After some curiosity was mentioned about the whereabouts of our order, a female employee by the name of Brittany asked if she wanted a drink while waiting, because "someone ate a few slices out of your pizza and we have to make you a new one". When asked who the perp was, this professional employee gestures towards her fellow employees and says "one of them". WHO DOES THAT?! After waiting longer, my sister told them that this situation was ridiculous and their response was to hand her a free pizza coupon (after being asked for a refund) with no apology or anything. While waiting, she witnessed the male employee from earlier receiving personal phone calls/ refusing to talk to people who were calling for him at the location number. Then he would disappear, making trips to and from the parking lot and his car. The same employee later asked "Brittany" if she "was ready to go back to da crib soon", to which she replied "yeah, I'm ready to get the hell out of here". At this point we decided to call and ask to speak with a manager to make him aware of the situation. To our surprise, he was very aware and unconcerned with the whole ordeal. We think he may have been the male employee soliciting the employee named Brittany, and most likely the one who ate the pizza! His name is Alfonso. We were so disappointed with this experience, and were so stressed at that point that we couldn't even enjoy our cold pizza, which makes no sense since we waited for a whole new one to be made. Papa Johns, we know you can do better!
