Olympia Auto & Tire
Sure the people are nice but their prices don't match to Firestone Tires. 94$ per tire of 75$ now being a college student that's alot. Had to wait a week to get a tire put on.

American Auto Repair Coverage
My rep Tom knew his stuff. Promised me I was getting the best price and even encouraged me to shop around. I couldn't find a better rate any where and when I got my paperwork it was everything he said it would be! I would deferentially recommend this company to anyone looking for a warranty.

Dobbs Tire And Auto Center
Crooks. If I could give a zero rating, I would. They sell overpriced tires and do not honor the warranty. I've had problems with two of the brand new tires that I purchased, and they have done nothing to honor the warranty. One tire had a screw in it, they did nothing. A few months later another tire has a split in the side, they are doing nothing. Not even honoring the 5,000 mile free tire rotation that comes with the tires. He said that would be useless. I will never, ever buy anything from Dobbs ever again.

Miles Jim Garage
Miles Garage rips people off and takes advantage of them! I took 2 different vehicles to them bc they are close and my husbands family has taken their vehicles to them for years. They failed the first vehicle after I had just had my brother, whom is a mechanic and lives in Illinois, to fix everything wrong with it, for me. Miles garage failed it for inspection and then told me several things needed repaired or all new parts. Those several things they failed it for are the same things my brother, the mechanic, had just repaired. Trusting them, I asked them to fix it all and paid the $900 bill!! A year later, I just bought a new vehicle from my brother, the mechanic. He told me the break pads needed fixed but that's the only thing really wrong with it. So I took it to Miles garage again, and again, he failed this vehicle. They claimed it needed a new muffler, tail pipe, exhaust, break pads and the front right Axel needed to be replaced!! I told my brother and he was surprised.... So I picked it up and they said for almost $500 they could fix it all. Ironically enough, they failed it for the EXACT same things that they failed my previous car for! So I took it to a different shop, one whom my family has used for the past 20 years. The reason I didn't take it to this one first was because its 45 minutes away from us. Got the call today, they not only passed it, but said that the reasons that Miles garage failed it, were not true. The only things wrong with it were the break pads and the muffler needed a clip... Nothing at all was wrong with the other things that Miles garage had listed. Oh, and they fixed and repaired it for $100!! I will never use Miles garage again. I do not trust them. They either lied to make some money or their skills with mechanics need to be improved!! I hope who ever reads this goes else where before wasting your hard earned money!! I go to B & S Repair in Foristell!! All of the mechanics are trustworthy and do a great job!!! You can tell them that whatever needs to be fixed or repaired, you plan on doing yourself, and they will still do a great job and not lie to you or take advantage of you!!!! Bc it wont accept this unless i pick a star for the rating, i have to give it atleast one, but I would give miles garage no stars!!!!!!!

NTB National Tire & Battery
These guys nailed it. I was at the Toyota dealership in St. Peters for an oil change and tire rotation before my son takes his car to college. The Toyota dealership said we needed a battery but they were about $25 more than NTB so we leave Toyota for NTB. As Jonathan at NTB is checking in the car, he comes back and says you need two new tires. He shows us and there is heavy wear on the inside of the tire almost to the belt. The Toyota dealership said nothing about it when we were there just hours before. NTB literally saved my son from getting a blowout on the highway. I owe these guys a great amount of gratitude for looking out for my family’s safety when the dealership did not.

Dobbs Tire & Auto Centers Inc
Don't go to Dobbs. They are paid on commission. They wanted to charge me $1598 to fix my a/c. I went to Weldon Springs Automotive for a second opinion. They fixed it for a discounted rate after they heard what I went through with Dobbs. Doug and Pat at Dobbs are liar's and try to get you to spend more money because they are paid on commission. Go to Weldon Springs Automotive the most honest mechanic in town. Tell the Kory sent you.

Dobbs Tire And Auto Center
Never going back. Treated with utter disrespect and contentious attitude from corporate level. They overfilled my brake resevoir, which caused check engine light, smoke and engine to sputter an hour from home. They will not reimburse for cost of repairs, only the $390 we paid for the brake work because we should've had vehicle towed to Dobbs. Forgive me, smoke from under hood and check engine are not two items I typically link with brake repair work I've had done. Got Better Business Bureau involved and they still refused to pay anything more than the original brake work.Thankfully we have a money tree and can afford to spend unnecessary amounts at inopportune times for expenses we incurred through no fault of our own. So happy we choose Dobbs, please note sarcasam, that is only way I can deal with this situation now.

Dobbs Tire And Auto Center
Absolutely hate using this Dobbs location. I do because they are closest to home and open on the weekends. I have yet to have ANY work done where I didn't have to take it back a second time to make it right. Most recently was a simple tire rotation. Sure enough, some how they bent a backing plate causing a metal scraping noise. Seriously????
Tips & Advices
Among the common scams pulled are needless repairs, where a garage charges you for work that isn't necessary. Another popular one is attracting customers through a cheap oil change or tire pressure check. Then, when you your car is being repaired, they give you a long list of other corrections they'd like to make, therefore boosting the total cost of your bill. The best way to combat these types of problems is getting a written estimate before work is done so you can see how much repairs are expected to cost. If the final bill is higher than the estimate projected, ask to specifically see the work. Make sure information is put in writing as well. If a problem remains, you can have proof that work was not done to your satisfaction.
For winter driving, features such as the defroster, heater and exhaust system are paramount. Look in your owner's manual for specific directions on how features should be checked and repaired. Many newer cars have a cabin air filter that can be replaced when needed, allowing warm air to continue to flow in. Also, check tires before winter driving, as they need to be at the proper pressure to perform well on snow and ice.
In the spring and summer, you want to be sure your air conditioner and cooling systems work correctly. Given the high temperatures, overheating is a common problem. Look over the system by ensuring there is enough coolant available. If it needs to be refilled, it is best to open the hood and add more to the car before it gets too warm out. Also, clean out fan ducts and other ventilation sources necessary for summertime driving.
Some fixes to your car can be done without paying a specialist. Issues like replacing oil and air filters are relatively simple, with instructions provided in the owner's manual on how to make these changes. The same goes for replacing broken windshield wipers or burnt-out headlights. Such issues should be repaired quickly to guarantee safety, but don't require a visit to a garage.
Yes. Not every type of auto repair work needs to be done by a certified mechanic. You can fix some of a vehicle's issues just by paying attention to how the automobile is running and having a basic understanding of auto repair. Look over the ways weather may impact your car and what preventative measures you can take to avoid having to take it into the shop.
