The Tile Shop
The salespeople must work on commission--I came in looking for tile that would have good traction for my front steps, which are often wet and/or icy. I had read online about tile that was designed to have high friction for use around swimming pool decks and I asked for something similar. The salesperson convinced me that I didn't need the type of tile I had read about (because the Tile Shop doesn't carry that type) and that a porcelain tile he had in stock had very good traction and would be appropriate. After installing it, we realized it was _incredibly_ slippery. We've tried all sorts of expensive and time consuming products to give it more traction and are still having guests slip and fall. This tile is a _disaster_. We may have to rip it all out (wasting thousands of dollars and days and days of our labor).

Just a moment...
