Great service, great staff, great products. Would highly recommend this business to anyone looking to save some money while getting a high quality product. I've never had the business make a mistake on frames (35+) as well as the wonderful high class art products. They've been in business longer than almost any in the area, and for a good reason. Would recommend highly.
Cheap materials and a poor job done on the frame I ordered from this place. Awful customer service for the cherry on top. An unfortunate experience.
I have been a long time customer (15-20 years). I have brought in prints to have them matted and framed, had custom mats and frames cut so I could assemble them myself (which the owner helped me learn to do), and even went on to buy a mat cutter and cut my own mats (again thru encouragement by the owner to save me money). Over the years I must have bought over 100 frames for myself and family and friends, and there was an occasional cutting error and the owners always made good.
I have not been into this store for some time, but I always loved this place and have recommended it to many people. The prices were always reasonable and it was my main stop for glass, fine papers and paint mediums. The owners were always super helpful to me. I am not sure why Jasmine had such a bad time, I am thinking perhaps she could be missing some social skills and may have been out of line in how she approached the situation? I have never had a bad experience in the 50 or more times I shopped there.
I've had nothing but great service from the people at Tradewinds. From the first time I bought supplies for college to the several times I've had framing projects done there. The staff is always helpful and courteous. I won't hesitate to bring any framing project there in the future.
WOW! I had brought in a couple of frames to have mats made for, and the owner took half-assed measurements and the mat did not fit one of the frames. When I called her to complain she would not accept that she made a mistake in measuring, right away got defensive and started yelling at me, would not even let me squeeze one word in! When I would try to say something she would just yell louder so I could not say anything. She would not even let me reason with her. I could NOT believe what was happening! She blamed the entire thing on me, said that I should have measured the inside of the frame and gotten the measurements to her (basically saying that she's incapable of taking correct measurements herself, since I had brought the frames into the store to begin with). The lady owner is completely unreasonable, and throughout the entire process kept treating me like an idiot, acting like she's doing me a favor by dealing with me. The product not fitting was just a cherry on top of the rotten service sundae...
