Angel Shoe Repair & Tailoring
Plain amazing! Both craftsman ship, customer service, and price. First showed up after calling 5 minutes before with a broken zipper on a Tuesday when my bridal shower was Saturday. Every tailor said no way especially with the type of zipper (invisible) being broken. Not only did he immediately take and fix within a day but charged pennies. Then recently I had 7 pairs of custom flower girl shoes arrive that did not fit one girl. In a panic now 10 days away from wedding I ran down to ray. Not only did he take the work but literally did it in 15 minutes in front of me on the spot. 7 pairs of shoes!!! Again I showed up last minute with a reception dgown that Toms Tailors gave me estimate of $200 to remove 6" of tulle. Again he out did himself. Highly recommend not only his work, but his customer service. He has been in non stop communication and has bent over backwards to accommodate my *sometimes* bridezilla-ish requests. Because of my experience I will NEVER use another tailor mark my work. HIGHLY recommend!

I have had many zippers l, shoes and luggage repaired by Ray at Angel Shoe Repair & Tailoring over the past years . He even fixed my husband's boat cover . He is always very fast in his turn around and very courteous and friendly . His prices are very good comparing to others and quality of his work is top notch .

German Leather & Shoe Repair
I have a pair of Browning Featherweight(R) hunting boots that, after about 8 years of use, had the sole separate from one of the boots. I took the boots to a local shoe repair shop and they said the only way to repair them would be to completely replace the soles on both boots for $80.00, which would take a week to do. I said "no thanks" to this fix. I then took the boots to German Shoe Repair and the young man running the shop said he could repair the boot with the separated sole by re-cementing (under pressure) the sole back onto the boot and then resealing the sole/boot interface with a tough sealer. The cost was $9.00 and the young man did the work in 30 minutes...while I did some shopping in Maplewood Mall! The young man said the repair should last at least a year and will stand behind his work if it doesn't. I have since worn the boots hunting and also doing some heavy work taking out buckthorn with my brother. The repair is holding up just fine, so far. I highly recommend German Shoe Repair to anyone looking for an honest, customer service oriented shoe repair shop with reasonable prices and high quality work.

Dave's Shoe and Leather Repair
This man should be out of business!!His work is awful!! No such thing as "customer service". In my opinion, he is a thief!!I took a purse to him to be repaired. It needed a strape to be reattached where the strap come loose from the purse. He was told to use part of the strap to make the repair. He did not do what he was asked to do...he used scrape leather he had that did not match the purse and sewed through the leather on the face of the purse that was not stitched prior to his so called repair.I asked for the $30 back that he charged me to ruin the purse. He refused and told me to sue him...really.I took the purse to GEORGE'S SHOE REPAIR on Grand Ave. They saved the purse and did an amazing job! Should have gone there first!Bottom line... go to GEORGE'S SHOE REPAIR on Grand Ave. They will do the job right and have amazing customer service.

German Leather & Shoe Repair
When my wife called to check on the repair of a new shoe purchase from him. (broke in first week) He told her he is tired of dealing with people and hung up. I went to store not to get shoe back, this was to get full refund as he "guaranteed" He refused! As I waited for security to come he made loud slanderous remarks. I will never be back!

German Leather & Shoe Repair
I took in a pair of comfortable shoes that needed re-soles. Instead of just re-soling them he stitched them so that the toe area was too tight. He stretched and re-stretched a number of times and instead of just stretching just the toe area he stretched the whole shoe. The toe area was still too tight but the shoe got so long he put in a couple of heal inserts. I went back at least 6 times and he never got them right. I asked for my money back so I could take them to a different shoe repair place and he said no and "sue me". I took them to a different shoe repair place and the guy told me the shoes were ruined and there was nothing he could do. Don't go tp German Leather and Shoe Repair.
