I wish I could give them 5 stars. At this point they don't deserve 1 star. I just left there. I wanted to purchase 2 bedroom sets for my girls tonight. Let me make this clear, I was not going to finance it either. It was not busy, so I just knew I would get great service. When I walked in, i saw a older sales woman, who just finished speaking with a couple. She looked right at me and walked the opposite direction. I was okay with that, because she may be getting info for the couple. So I proceeded to walk around the showroom. Mind you, I have never been there before. Only heard great things and looked at the website. As I continued walking and saw a younger sales woman straightening up. We made eye contact. I said hello. She returned the same and kept straightening up. Didn't ask if I needed help...nothing. So I continue walking until i found the kids section. They had exactly what I was looking for and on sale! The sales guy that was in that area was on the phone and it sounded like a personal phone call. We made eye contact he remained on his call. I stayed in that area for about 10 minutes going back and forth b/w 2 bedroom sets. Still no help. At this point I'm upset & confused and decided to leave. I headed towards the door when I saw 2 more sales people sitting at a desk. The first sales lady that I saw when i came in, walked up to them and started a convo. They saw me. No bye, no have a nice evening. B4 I walked out the door,I turned asked the first sales lady, " do you have a corporate office and can i get their #" I then heard the other lady sitting at the desk whisper, "why does she need the corporate office #. Does she have a complaint)? The first sales lady then handd me a business card and said, here this is customer service, try that. I am more hurt than anything...defeated. i now know why they didn't acknowledge me. it's all b/c of the color of my skin. that is a shame. Shame on you Slumberland for hiring such despicable people.

In store service was great. During the delivery and install a few pieces from my bed frame was stripped. The guys offered to leave the half finished frame until someone else could come and swap the pieces out. I also had a bunk bed which was great. I told them there's no point in leaving an unfinished project. I called the store the next day, the delivery guys wrote we refused the delivery. I explained to the manager what happen, she was like okay but we are still charging the 10% restocking fee. I don't think I should be charged 10% on a defective product that shouldn't have been sent out. Then i spoke to a guy, he said "well,the parts that's not defective you still have to pay to restock them" .....also the lady said the middle of the month the bed will be back in Stock then the guy said that week. I'm over it, I don't think I'll ever purchase from them. Good luck on your purchases and I hope it work out.
