Several miscommunications on the stylists part. I was very kind & empathetic because I knew the stylist had good intentions, but you can only be misinformed so many times when paying your bill at the end that the info you’re receiving is incorrect again. The owner acts sweet, but has a different side to her. My stylist charged me more than normal for a service on my last visit & very kindly, I said, why is it so much higher this time? The stylist is unsure & charges me the price I’ve paid in the past. I get home & see 4 missed calls from the salon, a voicemail from the owner demanding I come back to the salon immediately along with several texts from the owner telling me she is waiting for me to come back to settle my bill & when should she expect me, with screenshots prices. I call & I’m greeted by a not so friendly Eraka (the owner) telling me prices are clear & that I need to comeback & pay her. I paid the same amount I’ve paid to get my roots done & she acts surprised saying, you only had your roots done? I said yes, just roots & can hear her say to my stylist, you said she got an all over color & then says, She told me you had all over color. I said it’s crazy that she just treated me like this without even talking with me first to find out all the information. It shows that she never believed that my stylist was giving me wrong info if she’s not going to take 2 secs to call & talk to me to figure out what was happening, before demanding more payment. It made me feel very uncomfortable & embarrassed. She told me that from a mom to a mom I should be more understanding of the way she just treated me!! I told her I am very understanding & I understand mistakes happen, obviously I kept coming back to support the salon even after the miscommunications. I didn’t expect anything from her, but perhaps an I’m sorry about all this, or maybe my stylist reach out to apologize for yet another miscommunication, but I got nothing.

Had dark brown hair. Went in for highlights (balayage technique). Macayla turned me blonde. Asked her to add dark pieces back in and tone. Instead she toned and turned it green/gray. Paid someone else to fix what she couldn’t. Apparently, she was more than “accommodating” because she wanted to try and fix it after 2 failed attempts. I can’t trust you a 3rd time which eliminates a future visit for me, so a discounted price isn’t optional. And somehow it was my fault that she couldn’t formulate and section off a proper balayage!

Avoid this place and owner at all costs. She doesn't pay her bills, then complains that she was charged late fees. She ripped off a service-disabled Veteran for pete's sake! I would never give my money to a person like this. Shame on her.

I came there to get blood work done for the first time. There was no one at the front desk and I waited for five minutes for someone to come. When I went to the room, the woman was not friendly and took forever to sort the paperwork. Then she attempted to take my blood for three minutes but clearly didn't know what she was doing. She couldn't find my vein and it hurt way more than it should have. She ended up saying she would have to try again on the other arm, but I walked out and went to Mercy Hospital instead. Their service is 20 times better!

When people go to hairstylists, they don’t just want to get their hair done, they’re looking for an ally who cares about their customer and their customer’s hair. If this statement resonates with you, then this place is unfortunately not for you. Although the stylists here do a pretty good job when it comes to styling hair, they do not treat their customers with respect – they pick fights with customers; when customers raise concerns, they talk to them like children, treat customers like they are problems and sources of money. They do not treat customers like they are allies. They take their customers for granted.They actually told me that they gossip about their customers with the other hair salons on the street. So be careful on that street, I guess. Every time I try to call this salon, I either do not reach anyone or the stylists talk down to me and pick fights with me. I paid them $250 for a sew in. After paying them so much, and after I had issues with the style, I tried calling them to see if they could help me fix the problem since I had paid so much (remember ally). Instead of trying to keep a high-paying customer, they picked an argument with me and belittled me. I’m strong so I can take it and defend myself, but it was unbelievable. Who is going to pay people like that? I am surprised that they have been around so long with their poor customer service. With their non-existent customer service, the only thing I can imagine is that perhaps black women have been so mistreated over the years by hairstylists that they’re used to stylists yelling, insulting them if they request help or ask basic questions, and maybe are used to stylists taking them for granted. It’s sad. I am waiting for a hair salon that treats black women as equals and with respect instead of treating them like children. As a black woman, I am looking for a hairstylist who is an ally. I did not find that here.

No. Patients should arrange for someone to drive them home and stay with them for 24 hours following the procedure.
This depends on the procedure. Most centers ask that patients arrive one to two  hours before the procedure begins. Following the procedure, the patient will stay at the center until fully recovered from being sedated. This may take between one and three  hours. After that, if the patient isn't experiencing abnormal pain, he or she may leave.
