Drunken Fish
The only way to describe the food and service is simply "Outstanding". I had the pleasure of dining at The Drunken Fish at Westport this past weekend and I will become a regular. The night started off with a very pleasant greeting at the hostess stand and again by our waiter once we were seated. The bar was full along with the restaurant throughout our dininig experience. This must say something because as soon as a table was ready to be seated it was with many people still waiting to be seated. Our waiter had a great personality and was able to describe the menu in a way that made want to try something new. His energy level was high as well as his selling abilities. The food ranged from Appetizers to Sashimi and Nigiri Sushi and from Regular to Signature Makimono Rolls, Stir Fry to Fried Rice. The menu had many great items to choose from. After the many suggestions our waiter offered we decided on the Soft Shell Crab Apprtizer which was Soft-Shell Crab lightly battered with a Katsu sauce. Our waiter suggested a variety of wines and we went with the Greg Norman Pinot Noir which complimented the crab very nicely. We then decided to try The Drunken Fish Roll, The White Tiger Roll, and The Starburst Roll. All were outstanding in presentation and in taste which makes you want to go back and try them all. It is not only hard to find good food these day's but it is harder to find a server as dedicated to his craft as our server was Saturday night. I will not only be back but I will certainly tell my friends and family of my experience at The Drunken Fish Westport.

54th Street Grill & Bar
54th Street is one of our favorite chains. We enjoy the food most of the time. This particular restaurant is particularly awful. On occasions when we actually make it to a table, the service is always slow. Today, we didn't quite make it that far. When we arrived, we left our name and number with the hostess so we could be texted when our table was ready. We were told 45 minutes. An hour and six minutes passed before we received a text telling us that it would be 45 minutes and they would text us when our table was ready. You can imagine our changrin at being told to wait another 45 minutes! Then when we finally received notification of our table, we kept receiving texts telling us our table was ready. I cannot recommend this store.

Harry's Bar & Grill
I've gone to Harry's for the last 3 years on my birthday for karaoke, and I try to go as often as possible. They hold free karaoke on Thursday through Saturday night. The crowd is so inviting and forgiving, and MK the DJ is lots of fun. It's a fantastic environment for people who are skilled singers or absolute novices. It's lots of fun to dance too!I love their kids meal burgers too. $4 for a huge burger and steak fries! The waitstaff is friendly and fun, and most of them sing, too! Great times.

Firehouse Bar & Grill
Firehouse Bar and Grill is a great place to hang out with your family and/or friends! It has scrumptious food served by friendly waitresses. It's conveniently located on 3500 Lemay Ferry Rd. You can watch your favorite sports venue from the multitude of flat screen televisions upstairs, downstairs and on the old-fashion outdoor balcony porch eating area. Billiard room areas, fully stocked bars on dual levels and a dance floor at the lower level provides fun opportunities for all.

Bar 101 St. Louis Soulard
They claim to be the largest bar and patio in the Lou. The patio is amazing, open play sand vball and the slip and slide on the weekends make it unique. Took my brother on his 25th with the parents, everyone had a blast. The only place I know that has reggae bands outside, the way its meant to be enjoyed. Only prob, gets a little to crowded after 1am, I guess because its a 3am bar. So we just take the free shuttle to the games and scoot after 11pm.

The Famous Bar
What is there to say about one of the last bastions of the “real” bar – Pool tables, Jameson on tap, & ASHTRAYS! I know those of you who hate smokers will stop here, but honestly the air cleaners do a great job. I am a former smoker & I have no issues walking in here. Don’t expect food though, unless it is the olive in your martini or the quail egg in your bloody mary…this bar believes in doing one thing very well….being a bar.

Petra Cafe & Hookah Lunch
Friendly service, great food, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, and my favorite hooka St Louis, tied with Al-Waha in the loop! To the previous reviewer:I wouldnt ever try and pass a college ID off as official. So the lesson here is, don't get your license taken away and rip on a place that was doing what they were supposed to. Maybe you should respect the law more and not get dwi's!

The Post Sports Bar & Grill
This might just be the coolest Sports Bar in the city!! I was trulyl amazed and the locations of their tv's and the sizes... and there's really not a bad seat in the house. I've been there twice and haven't even seen the whole restaurant yet!I could go on forever. But, the last word is, THE FOOD IS AWESOME! Try a calzone!!

The Jive and Wail
I am a long time patron of Jive and Wail. I am not as thrilled with the Westport venue as I was with the original or even Wash Ave. Westport leaves me with the feeling of a "cookie cutter" chain type bar. The quality of the product is great, so hopefully they can step it up to hit the unique meter.

Larry J's
Love this place! Super nice owners and bartenders, large open area, lots of dart boards, and a TV for practically every sport known to man. Prices are reasonable and the clientelle is friendly and laid back. Would recommend to anyone wanting to have a fun experience.

Just a moment...
