St. Louis Frozen Custard Factory
A little expensive and these people INSIST on putting chocolate syrup in custard, even when you ask for vanilla. Twice we've gone there and I ordered a peanut butter cup concrete. The second time I specifically said I wanted vanilla custard, and they still put chocolate syrup in it (as opposed to chocolate custard with chocolate syrup, I guess). I asked the clerk about it, and she said "it's vanilla, that's chocolate syrup" and closed the window in my face. Great customer service! Not.

Clementine's Naughty and Nice Creamery
If you don't come here you will regret it. Or maybe you won't because you'll never know how amazing the ice cream is here. The staff is incredibly nice and the atmosphere is bohemian in the best way possible. You have to try their alcohol infused ice cream. I don't even like alcohol but when you mix red wine and decadent chocolate ill bite.

The first time I came to St Louis for work a man on the airplane told me that I had to try the custard at Ted Drewes. So glad I did, it's amazing! I've never had anything so good! I love the peach & marshmallow. It's worth the wait even when the line is long, you won't regret it.

This is a Saint Louis tradition that you have to experience! The lines are long, it is 100+ degrees in the August heat, but we stand there patiently waiting for the yummy custard goodness that is the concrete. Oreo for me please

Velvet Freeze Ice Cream
Velvet Freeze is the BEST. I remember when they were throughout the St. Louis area. Delicious flavors and the real thing! Favorite memory getting their peach ice cream and pouring some hot peach jam we were making over it.

This was a decent place but we've had better. If you're ever in Springfield check out Andy's Frozen Custard. It's da bomb. Ted's satisfied our cravings. If we're ever back in St. Louis we'll probably look for something else.

Cool Times
This store is almost my second home. When I need something, I always visit this place. I know already the manager here and he is very accommodating.

Fountain on Locust
The atmosphere is killer. The ambiance is worth the average food. It's themed in a 1920 art deco. Like the Great Gatsby. You gotta check it out

Velvet Freeze Ice Cream
The best ever! Made with all real ingredients; eggs, cream, vanilla beans, etc. I pray this tradition 4ever remains. IJN, Amen.

Best Frozen Custard ever. I usually get a Blue Berry custard, they always load it with tons of berries.

Just a moment...
