I was here for work. Company paid for everything including meals up to 40. My rooms carpet is gross, heavily stained, and smells. I order room services. They charge $32 for a steak the size on my palm. A 4oz steak for 40 bucks. Forced 18% gratuity, $3 delivery fee, $3 In taxes, and I ask for medium well. Which apparently in their mind is well done and partial burnt not charred, but burnt. The person even expected a tip. Tv in room is small like a 32 inch. No microwave, but it at least has a fridge. They are the only place that shuttles people from the airport. As long as your flight lands before 11pm or else they tell you to take a cab. Cookies are good, but I dont stay at motels just for the cookies. This place truly sucks....
I've stayed here about 4 times this year. 2 times the room was great; clean, roomy, and comfy. The other 2 times I got a room with broken chest of drawers, non working tv(fixed by the maintenance guy after waiting forever) no phone, no alarm clock, and candy wrapper still on the floor. If this were a $70 hotel room it'd be fine. But the rooms are $77-90, not "cheap". It's convenient to the airport and they have a shuttle.
The staff, starting with Kevin at front desk; and "Tay" (7/22 - 7/27/16) and everyone else from housekeeping, bellhop, and dining offered exceptional, "5" STAR customer service. My son, having been critically injured as a victim of a senseless crime on 7/22, and me traveling 4 hours from Branson to be with him in this time of urgent need, commend Clayton Plaza Hotel's "entire" staff, although not knowing me and my son's predicament, rendered such an unforgettable service to us that their dignified, kind, caring and seemingly effortless service and attention should not be forgotten! I cannot say "Thank You" enough to each one of them! I hope they continue to be conscientious of the good that they do so as to never become complacent or lose what they have because I surely WILL be recommending them.My son Eduardo and I thank you from deep within our hearts. Most trulyJachin M Boaz II
