Horrible. Stay away. Picked up item. Dented like somebody dropped. Called store talked with someone name Sam. Told me I stuck with item and I had a bad attitude. I said excuse me I asked a question. He tgen hung up on me. Stay away from this store. Bad service!!!@

On May 4th, 2017 my husband and I purchased the sofa sectional (special order) and we were told to wait for delivery for approx 3-4 months. The sales associate specified that it would arrive late August - early September. Today is September 26th, 2017 and when I called to verify when the sectional would be delivered I was told that the container is still not ready and the date of delivery moved to December.I contacted the manager Mr. Parson and he said that they never promise anything - they give the best estimate possible on arrival dates and usually it’s 4-6 months for special orders. Besides, special order can’t be canceled. It’s very convenient for the company situation - there is no documentation with estimated date of delivery, so now I’m stuck with them and can’t do much about it.I was waiting patiently the whole time just to learn that the House of Denmark cannot fulfill the obligation to deliver the furniture on time. This is false promise to customers. Simple calculation shows that just in few days it will be 5 months from the date of purchase. And there is no guarantee that my order will be delivered even in December. During my 5 month wait, nobody ever called me with an update about the delay. This is unfortunate, but I had to literally wait until all of St Louis area decides to buy from them. I could buy online easily and delivery time would be much less than half-year. But I decided to support local business and now suffering from it. The only compensation that was offered for me is delivery fee waiver ($105). That’s funny amount comparing to the total cost of my order (almost 5k).To potential customers: Shop online or elsewhere in stores that can communicate expectations, deliver on time and resolve customer issues fairly. If still decided to shop with them - try to avoid making a special order unless totally necessary. In our case House of Denmark in St. Louis failed to provide quality service. Too bad for them, they just lost a customer.

Horrible !!!!! They are the most disrespectful business I have ever come in contact with. I paid cash and 3 months after purchasing the bed the frame broke and 3 months later I still do not have a frame and can not sleep in the bed. The owner said " It is not my fault you broke it " Cheap shit !! I plan to sue them in small claims court and I am reporting them to the better business immediately!!!!! DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS BUSINESS !!!!!! SPREAD THE WORD!!!!!! If I could leave a negative rating I would They do not deserve 1 star o stars for this business!!!!!!

This is a wonderful store....efficient manager and helpful salespeople. I went in to buy a chair to be sent to ATL...because I wanted this store to get credit....Lazy boy doesn't work like that. But I picked the chair out, and the manager called ATL, and processed the order from here....for me....She had the salesperson explain the terms and conditions over the phone. They emailed my contract.....this store faxed my signature over....It was a great experience to receive such phenomenal customer service. I recommend this store to everyone! You'll be pleased!Karen

Purchased a 8ft maxwell leather sofa from Restoration Hardware and exceptionally disappointed with the customer care and delivery our merchandise. I was told at time of purchase is hear from someone regarding delivery within 48 hours. I did not. I called the following Friday and left a message (info said I hear from company within 48 hours. I did not. Left a second message on Monday and was told in 2 business hours. I did not. I finally heard back later that day and was not asked when I would like my $4200 sofa delivered. I was told it could be delivered on 9/12 a date that did not work for me...3 weeks after the purchase of the sofa. This is my wedding gift and still, no care or concern.

This place and the so called district manager.. are so unprofessional and has no customer courtesy none whatever. We purchased furniture and paid for delivery. When the furniture came we had items missing and was told the things were not in the warehouse. That was 1 in the afternoon,i was told that they were gonna deliver the rest of my things the same day. 7 o clock came and they still wasn't here. Called the store and got the run around. I asked for my money vack for the delivery and was told "im not giving you your money back". Will never shop there again. You get what you pay for. Not to mention the poor quality of the furniture....
