Big Bend Automotive
I went to Big Bend Automotive with my Mercedes, called AAA because my car would not start, AAA informed me it was not my battery, was the alternator. Had car towed there explained I had to wait, they gave me parts options and up front pricing estimate. They fit me in on a very busy day for them. Thanks Guys, James...

My 12-year-old daughter received a letter from Vehicle Service Department. We called to ask that they not send her letters for a car she has never owned and neither have I. They acted childish and very unprofessional. They said this company sold them my daughters info and they sent the information. We spoke with three different men (John, Bill, and Mick). They gave us the address (1851 Craig Park Ct. Saint Louis, MO) as their address which we found suspicious. We were threatened by them saying we owed $25,000 in fees for a vehicle no one in our household has ever owned. They act worse than my 12 year-old in handling conflict. All we were asking was to have my daughters information removed and they did not care to have her information removed. They were unbearable to deal with. They threw in random threats all of which we have recorded. They have harassed my daughter since Wednesday evening and she has since received multiple phone calls from various numbers from St. Louis, MO. Not happy. We have had to change her number which is only meant for emergencies. They kept trying to convince her to talk to us about purchasing an extended warranty that I had to step in to talk to them and say no. I just bought my first and new car with the warranty from the car company. How is the warranty expired or close to expiring? And how did they get my daughters name if nothing is in her name? Very fishy. Most likely, or should I say, very likely a scam. The original number we called is 1-888-608-0475 and John gave us this information.

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. I CANCLED MY WARRANTY WITHIN 30 DAYS. THEY GIVE YOU 30 DAYS TO REVIEW YOUR WARRANTY IF U DONT LIKE IT YOU CAN CANCEL AND GET A FULL REFUND. SO I CANCELED IT IN JANUARY AND STILL HAVE NEVER RECIEVED MY MONEY.. THEY ACT AS IF THEY ARE SCAM ARTIST. NEVER DEAL WITH MARY OR ANDREW. THE CAMPANY SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES, THEY ARE THERE TO COLLECT YOUR MONEY, NOT TO HELP THEIR CUSTOMERS. BUT LUCKLY FOR ME THEY OWE THE CUSTOMER 10% OF THE DEPOSIT EVERY MONTH THEY ARE LATE GIVING YOUR MONEY BACK. PROBABLY HAVE TO WAIT ANOTHER 3 MONTHS FOR THE 10%. UNBELIEVABLE.

Infinite Auto Services
The worst auto repair I have ever experienced. The lack of integrity knowledge and communication makes them one of the worst repair shops in Missouri. I would never recommend them to anyone for anything. A simple transmission rebuild has been a nightmare for myself and my family. They have destroyed my Range Rover and refuse to acknowledge their incompetence and lack of know how.

I spoke with Greg (General Manager) to reach a resolution, but to no avail. At the beginning of our conversation, he stated that he needed to “get the facts” and call me back, which insinuated that I was dishonest and that the customer isn’t right. He admits that he “missed the mark” on not finding the issue the first time, however he felt that not charging additional diagnostic fees (be careful, diagnostic fee is from $70-$140, but increases the longer it takes to identify your issue- which was not mentioned at time of service) and towing the car (someone used their personal roadside assistance) sufficed. Experiencing the same issue with my car not starting after taking it to this certified dealership, those terms wasn’t acceptable. Not a different issue mind you, the SAME issue. His voice elevated on a few occasions and made it seem he was doing me a favor. The solution to deduct the diagnostic fee from the new bill was not an option for Greg. I informed the Service Dept. that my car started intermittently when I FIRST brought my car there. It is still intermittent after service. I have 3 children, one of whom with special needs, who also depends on my car; you can imagine how upset I was about how this was handled. It feels like the issue was left untreated intentionally to have me return and shell out more money. Had I not posted a review, I’m 1000% sure my bill would’ve included another diagnostic, towing, parts and labor. Pam (Customer Serv. Mgr.) asked that I remove my review as soon as possible, as it is a poor reflection of Sue’s (Service rep.) service. Sue has been very professional and courteous. My car not starting again has nothing to do with her. I felt that that was some sort of guilt-trip tactic to remove my original Google review.

Tips & Advices
You should change your oil filter whenever you change your oil, that is, approximately every 7,500 miles.
A oil filter is a device that helps remove contaminants from motor oil as it passes through the engine. A pump pushed the oil through the filter where it is strained and goes back to the engine.
High-mileage oil contains special conditioners that are said to help prevent gaskets from drying out and thus preventing leaks. This can be beneficial to engines with many miles on them.
Synthetic oil costs more than conventional oil, but the price is offset by the need for less frequent oil changes due to the oil’s durability.
Tools needed to change your own oil include jack stands or ramps, a wrench, an oil filter wrench, an oil drip pan, funnel, replacement oil filter, and replacement oil.
