McBride's Yamaha
Bought new side by side, got it Home and immediately had a loud grinding sound from the rear end. Called McBrides and was told to drive it and see if goes away. At 6 hours took it back. They acted as if it was a normal noise. I drove an identical unit at a different dealership and no grinding. 2 days later they called and said it as fixed. They told me they adjusted the park brake and put shims under the bed. Drove two hours and took it for test drive and it still made the grinding noise and now had a rattle coming from the bed. They told me to take it and they would call Yamaha to get an opinion from their technical support. They never called me back, I called them and they said they were working on it. I called Yamaha, Yamaha had no record of McBrides ever calling them.The owner told me it’s under warranty so just drive it. I took it to a different dealer (Brooks Yamaha in Manhattan kansas) who looked at it and said something was definitely wrong but since I did not purchase it there they refused to work on it even with a factory warranty. After several phone calls directly to Yamaha I took it back to Mcbrides, they kept it for five weeks and said they tore the rear end apart and found nothing wrong with it. I went to pick it up and asked if it was still making the noise the mechanic said “ well we didn’t change any parts so the noise is probably still there “ I took the machine out and it immediately started the grinding noise again. I return to the shop and the owner had left, the mechanic had disappeared to the back room and there was a different person at the counter I walked up to the counter and nothing was said to me other then they tore off my receipt and handed it to me, I told him it’s still making the noise and he replied “our Yamaha rep says that’s a normal noise” then walked away. I loaded up, left and called Yamaha directly I was able to get them to extend my warranty one more year and they agreed to pay for a second opinion. Horrible!!!

Terrible service. Acted as if they could give a crap less about helping me. Came in to get a simple diagnostic, and the employee by the name David was not helpful at all and insisted on me to not get my bike diagnosed. Very disrespectful and will not be returning nor recommend.

Service was horrible. Took my car in to have it fixed under warranty and had to tell them every time it still wasn't right since they couldn't hear the noise and it was loud and clear. They put parts on and didn't bother to tell me other than the parts list. Now, 30,000 miles later, I'm putting a new motor in my car. They should have fixed it right to start with not half ass it.

Fred Albright & his staff are the best! Everyone that walks in the door is treated like they're family. We been having Rick in service work on our vehicles for years, never knew Greg when he owned it, but Fred makes a point to say hello to everyone. We have purchased 2 trucks there this year.

My wife and I were looking for a Chevrolet Equinox. A salesman introduced himself asked how he could help us. He showed a an Equinox that was discounted 15%. We took it for a test drive. After returning he showed us the service department. Then we went back to the show room and talked about a deal on the vehicle. I was impressed because I expected things to be more high pressure. We were at another dealership a few days before and the first thing they did was to take all our personal information and try to sell us a vehicle we weren't even interested in. So our experience was enjoyable.

I initially not happy about the Chevy pro pack that was applied to the paint to protect it because bugs still chipped the paint on my grille. After I called and spoke with them they brought the truck in, repainted the gille, and reapplied the pro pack for free.
