Best breakfast in town!! No other local restaurant can compare to their freshly made meals at the prices they offer. Very nice and polite staff. Felt right at home. P.S. Regarding the previous comment, this restaurant does unfortunately close its doors but only during the winter months (November-February). It is still open to this day. I was there this week and it was great!!

While in St. Ignace, my family and I had heard from two tourists that Java Joe's was an amazing restaurant that they loved going to, and we figured we'd give it a try. I beg to differ. We waited over 45 minutes just to hear from the waitress. When taking our order she couldn't even remember what we wanted. There was hardly anyone there yet the service was so slow it was unbearable. My coke was 99% water and whatever the one percent was, certainly didn't add flavor. The coffee was way too sweet, the hamburger meat was more like burnt unidentified meat from whatever animal they fished out of their toilet. You could tase the iron in their tap water and the waitress forgot to bring us our food even after it was done, so it had been sitting ready for a good 10 minutes, eventually arriving cold. It was the WORST experience I have ever had at a restaurant. We left, paying them Their 20$ for the crap they call "food" and left. Stay away from that restaurant if you want quality food and service. They also own Jose's Cantina, The Garden, and Mojo's Hotdogs. If you want good food, go to the Galley restaurant, fast service, good food, nice workers.

The History Of A Pasty- Those responsible for bringing the pasty (sometimes called Cousin Jack) into the Lake Superior region during the middle 1800's were the Cornish miners or otherwise known as "Cousin Jack". Because of their English origin they were called "Cousins" and "Union Jacks," but the term soon became "Cousin Jacks." Their wives were known as "Cousin Jennies." Back in Cornwall the wives baked the pasties in the morning, rolled them in their aprons and hurried down to the mine shafts. Their husbands and sons, grouped under the trees at the noon hour, received a sizzling meal in the only possible manner it could be supplied. When theses sturdy miners came to Michigan, the pasty came, too, not only for the Cornish-men,but for the Scandinavians, Italians, Finns, and other nationalities that followed this hardy breed of pioneers down the mine shafts. It didn't take long for others to realize that cold sandwiches did not compare with the steaming, succulent contents of the "Cousin Jack mouth organ." The pasty consists of tasty, economical meal of roast beef, potatoes, onions, rutabaga, and carrots, seasoned and nicely wrapped in a delicious crust and baked.

We live on Mackinac Island for the summer season. We traveled to the UP today and decided to try Clyde's Drive-in for first time after reading great reviews online. Between all of us, we tried the grilled cheese, hamburgers, french fries and onion rings. Our server, Camille, was so perfect. Upbeat, very personable and great server. Will most definitely be back and will now consider myself a regular customer. I really want to try the milk shake next time. Food was excellent. Just remember it's cash only.

This by far was the worst Burger King I have been to. They messed up my order. I order a chicken bacon sandwich with no mayonnaise or tomato. When I received it, it had mayonnaise on it.. So I took back up to have it fixed, They took the chick off that one and put on new bun. The chicken still had mayonnaise on the bottom. I took back asked for refund.. The Manager at the time made me wait while they took other orders, I then witnessed an employee playing on his cell phone with his gloves on put phone away and continue to make someones sandwich without changing gloves.. I will never go there again. The manager was very unprofessional.

Went there in late June 2014, had the fish and chips. My girlfriend and her sister ordered the whitefish with the extra sides and rolls. I have never had such great food in a very long time. The atmosphere was nautical and extremely comfortable. The service was outstanding, the view of the lake made for a very relaxing meal. Both of the ladies loved their food just as much as me. I am taking another vacation in 2015 and will be eating here for sure. My new girlfriend is a fan of seafood and lake fish. I told her of this place and she is hounding me to not forget to take her here.
