Goodwill Stores
I have been shopping at the goodwill Store at Harvester Square for years. And I have noticed that in the past Six Months or so. That the prices of Items have been marked VERY High!I go to the goodwill on Clay & their prices are reasonable. As is the one on Mid Rivers.I find Items that are even the same. And they are marked higher in price at the goodwill on Harvester. I as I'm sure a lot of others that shop at goodwill are looking for a good deal. But some of the clothing and Shoes are priced as high or higher than what you would pay at Wal-Mart. I Thought this was a place to go and save money. I know that goodwill is more than just a thrift store. That it does SO much more for the community. Supplying Jobs and Training. And more! But to go into a goodwill and see a pair of boots marked 39.99 or a Sweater Jacket priced 30.99. I honestly thought that goodwill was a place for people like Me who are on a VERY limited income trying to live off Disability to be able to go and shop. For decent warm clothing. And I Love to read and the Harvester goodwill is the only one that has raised it's prices on those also.Thank YouTeresa Mason

Renewed Treasures
This shop is a St. Charles treasure (pun recognized but not specifically intended). They have gently used clothing, home goods, and toys like many other consignment/resale shops, but they are unique. One, they actually have a pretty decent men's section, which as most resale shoppers know, can be hard to find. Two, the clothes are donated and the proceeds benefit missionaries around the world, so you can get some great bargains and feel good about where the money is going, too! :)Speaking of bargains, almost every time I walk in, they have a sale going on or coming up soon. My best bargain trip thus far happened to be during their $1 clothes and shoes sale. I picked up a couple of designer brands and some cute flats. Most (maybe even all?) of their staff are volunteers, and seriously some of the sweetest people you'll ever meet. If you haven't been in, check it out. You'll be glad you did.

Goodwill Stores
Paid $100 for them to fix my laptop DC jack and it only took two days. Got a quote from geeksquad and was going to cost over $300 and they said 3-4 weeks.
