Streets of St. Charles Dental
Dr. Mary at Streets of St. Charles has proven to be such a compassionate and honest dentist for me and my family over the last few years. Her staff is so friendly and professional. Her kids days are so fun and well thought out! Thanks to her creativity, positive attitude, and obvious love for children, my kids can't wait to go back to the dentist! She makes kids feel so special and enthused about caring for their teeth. Her dedication and honesty really sets her apart from other experiences I've had. Although my son had a cavity in his baby tooth she said it didn't need to be filled because he would lose the tooth before it became a problem. Another time, she told me I needed a crown on a tooth, but then after removing an old filling, she discovered she was able to do a less expensive filling instead. Also, the officice has always been very flexible with payment plans so my family can afford what we've needed. I have recommended this place to many friends and family members.

Streets of St. Charles Dental
I am beyond impressed with my experience at Streets of St. Charles Dental. I would recommend Dr. Mary Smith and the entire Streets dental team with complete confidence. Dr. Mary is a knowledgeable, efficient and reliable dentist. The office has a convenient location for individuals from St. Louis or St. Charles. The front desk staff is welcoming and helpful; which is refreshing since the first point of contact is crucial. The dental care team is very professional and each of them strives to provide the absolute best care for me. They are very accommodating to my “fears” of the dentist and they always help calm my nerves by explaining the dental procedures to me. Dr. Mary takes the time to speak with me about my concerns and she genuinely seems concerned about my well-being as one of her patients. Personally, I believe Dr. Mary and the entire dental care team are the ideal dental practice!

Streets of St. Charles Dental
The staff there is very friendly. I have been to a few dentists before and I have never been so comfortable. It had been a while since I had seen the dentist (4 years) so I knew I had to get some work done. This was relatively a breeze and painless. I joked with the staff a lot and they went along with it which I thought was cool. The ladies up front got me in and out when it was time to leave and if I could only now find an eye doctor open past 5pm on weekdays in St. Chuck I'd be in business. I have read a few of the negative reviews on this place and I think this is grossly exaggerated. I have been there now a few times and this has never even been close, no pain, no waiting and a very capable staff from top to bottom. I would strongly recommend this office to anyone Dr. Mary & Dr. Pastorek are two very good dentists with a very fun team.

Boulevard Dental Care
After years of hopping between dentists I am so happy to have found the team at Boulevard Dental! I have had multiple cavaties and root canals throughout my life and this is my fourth and final dentist! Upon arriving the staff is always friendly and professional. Big smiles greet me at the door. I have never had to wait longer than 15 min, which is very refreshing vs other dentists and doctors offices. The dental care is always top notch, frequently asking to make sure I am in minimal pain or if they can make me more comfortable in any way! Dr. Reyes is knowledgeable, to the point, and very professional. He fixed many mistakes other dentists had overlooked. Overall wonderful experience everytime I go!

Wilson Family Dental
Dr. Wilson is more than just a dentist, he is a life saver. I was not a patient of his however my fiancé is and when I was in excruciating pain this past Friday he offered for me to come into his office the next morning, his day off, and take care of my needs. He fixed my previous dentist's mistakes and made sure to take his time and give me the best care possible! I am so incredibly thankful for not only his expertise and work but that he truly cared about taking me out of my pain. I highly recommend him and he now has my business for life!

Bogey Hills Dental
This office is GREAT!! The staff is friendly and helpful. The dentist is very gentle, and he took the time to explain the condition of my teeth and gums. The office has TVs and computers everywhere, and you can see pictures of your teeth and your x-rays right in front of you. I was able to get in for an appointment to have some cavities filled the same week I was seen for my cleaning, not a month later like my last dentist. I am so glad I came to Bogey Hills Dental.

Elizabeth A Moody, DMD
I've been going to Dr. Moody for about 12 years. She doesn't push unnecessary expensive procedures, such as having a very tiny crack in my tooth fixed until it's necessary. We waited 12 years before a crown became the thing to do, and she did the work this year without it being a big deal to me. She and her hygienists are thorough, but very gentle and always very pleasant. I definitely do not dread going to see her, and I highly recommend her as a family dentist.

Tips & Advices
  • If a tooth decays and the nerves or pulp (soft internal tissue which helps teeth develop) become inflamed or infected
  • If a tooth is cracked or broken and nerves are exposed
This generally depends on any specific issues you wish to address with your teeth. There are toothpastes designed to whiten teeth, fight cavities, decrease sensitivity, prevent bad breath, resist gingivitis, and those specific to children (with lower fluoride content). There are also toothpastes that offer “complete” protection by combining aspects of many of the above toothpastes.
It’s recommended to get a professional cleaning at least two times per year.
  • Desensitizing toothpaste numbs the nerves in the teeth that can cause discomfort.
  • Mouth guard can protect against grinding teeth during sleep.
  • Fluoride treatment can be applied by dentists to sensitive areas to numb teeth and strengthen enamel.
  • Root canal can treat problems in a tooth’s core.
  • Surgical gum graft where a piece of gum tissue is removed from a section of the mouth to cover an exposed root.
Not everyone needs to have their wisdom teeth removed, but there are certain signs that can help you and your doctor determine if yours should be:
  • Wisdom teeth are pushing other teeth around, causing pain and misalignment
  • Cysts form around newly emerged wisdom teeth, causing jaw damage
  • Gums get inflamed and swollen, causing cavities and pain
  • Doctor determine from x-rays that wisdom teeth will cause problems in the near future
