Advanced Micro-Endodontics
I had a root canal at Advanced Micro-Endodontics a couple of days ago. It was the fastest and most pain free root canal I've ever had. They have an awesome technique to help when injecting the numbing medication. It really helped. Even a couple days later I pretty much have no pain. The staff and Dr. Nazeri were awesome. Always friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend this endodontist. They explained all the risks and benefits of my treatment options. Everything was explained in detail, all my questions were answered, and I felt a lot better about choosing a treatment plan. I'm always amazed at how considerate and concerned they are for my well-being. Their advice is always wonderful and completely unbiased. I was worried that I was going to be in a lot of pain during my procedure, but they gave me a local anesthetic that took the pain away. I was very comfortable the whole time. Just as a side note, I was very impressed with how conveniently located this business was and how close it was to other shopping centers. It was so easy to find, I didn't have any trouble at all. The building they are located in has an awesome and tranquil fish stream running through it. I enjoyed watching the koi swim while I was there.

The very first dentist experience I can remember was jumping out of the dentist chair and running straight into my mom's arms because I was so scared. They had to hold me down the rest of the appointment. I would have never thought after that first traumatizing experience that I would be such a fan of a DENTIST! But here, from the moment you walk in and are greeted by Tanya or Mariann with a warm smile, the experience is always a pleasant one. They are a step above the rest because unlike so many other businesses the great hospitality does not just stop there. My hygienist, Jonae always gets me promptly for my appointment and greets me by name which makes me feel valued and welcomed. She is always so concerned if I am comfortable and always takes the time to explain what she is doing to keep me in the loop. When Dr. Pam comes in to check-in she always gives me great innovative, and cost effective tips on how to keep my gums in great condition and my teeth healthy and sparkling white. It is clear that the employees here all care about the general well-being of the patients and are passionate about what they do. I highly recommend this Dental Office.

I was referred to Dr. Nazeri from my regular dentist because my root canal on my abscessed bicuspid was going to be too difficult to do without the microscope. I've had root canals before, and for the most part they're mostly painless if you can handle the vibration in your head when they're grinding the inside of your tooth away. I was in and out in literally 30 minutes. They did a temporary filling as I am going back to my regular dentist in a week. They were very fair with me on the price as it was an emergency procedure and I don't have health insurance through my employer yet. I felt ZERO pain and the dental assistants were very nice, they played music, and were very attentive to my needs. Also you can ask for the shot that doesn't contain the epinephrine such as I had to do because of my sensitivity to stimulants. Highly recommend if you need very specific and complicated dental work.

I moved out of the Sacramento area two years ago and I miss this office so much. I always felt very comfortable with Dr. Pam and Dr. Stella and their staff. I also liked the fact that they seemed to keep up with the latest research and technology and were very proactive about prevention. One of the dentists I visited since moving even commented that my previous fillings were done very well. I can't recommend this office enough. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because the front office staff messed up my appointments a couple of times. Once there was some confusion about the time of my appointment and another time the dentist I was supposed to meet with was switched. I will say that both times they fixed the problem and got me in without having to reschedule.

This office is awesome. It's hard to say all this without a big smile on my face. I was impressed. I was told exactly what was going to be done and why. They listened and I mean listened to all my concerns. I like details and they patiently explained everything. At the end when money was explained again they informed me about my plan with Delta dental. Even with that they were honest and said they can't always estimate exactly but would help me get the answers they may not know with my benefits. I only wrote this after I had many visits and I think they're great still. It was all true from the beginning. They may cost more but it is worth it.

Awesome with special needs kiddos! The staff is absolutely amazing with my 6 yr old disabled child with Autism and severe sensory issues as well as other two children (9yr & 20 mo). There was never even a question if I'd be with them in the treatment area and no concern or question is ever disregarded. After the first initial visit my 9 yr old who was super nervous is now excited to go to this practice, does not mind having procedures done and in fact she is almost disappointed if she only needs a cleaning!lol I will never take my kids anywhere else and will recommend them to anyone!

We love, love, love Dr. Guidi and the staff. Lissa in the front office is awesome too! Dr. Guidi is an excellent dentist and a perfectionist. He doesn't hurt me and I have always had a phobia about going to the dentist. I let Dr. Guidi work on my husband and teenagers and then decided he was a keeper so let him work on me. I have never regretted our decision to change dentists. My family has been going to this dental office for 18+ years. I have never regretted our decision to change to this dental office and would highly recommend Dr. Guidi and the office staff.

Last year I visited this office under the dental care of Dr. Matthew Chung, who is no longer at this location. His gentle, caring manner with brief explanations of the tasks being performed were so appreciated. The dental assistant, office staff and hygienist were all courteous. This year my treatment was less satisfactory as I was less than pleased with the female dentist who seemed to rush through the process. I don't recall that she smiled even once.---The building is quite old with an outdated outdoor elevator. The interior rooms are quite small.

The best dental office around! The all female staff is so warm and welcoming; it's like seeing old friends. Diana, my hygienist, is exceptional and truly cares for her patients. I can't recall a time in the past where I knew my hygienist's name, let alone established such a close relationships with her. I love how modern the office is and that they have the most current technology to give me the best care. Great location, superb service! This place sets the bar high for any dental office and should be the standard for customer satisfaction.

I am a current long term patient of this dental practice, I was just in on Thursday. They are a professional organization that places patient care first and foremost. I am always pleased with the courteous, supportive and thorough care I receive from the dentists, hygienists and office staff. They are all well informed with care options and responsive to any and all inquiries. They offer a wide array of care options to help patients make informed decisions and personal choices about what each individual service one might wish to consider.
Tips & Advices
  • If a tooth decays and the nerves or pulp (soft internal tissue which helps teeth develop) become inflamed or infected
  • If a tooth is cracked or broken and nerves are exposed
This generally depends on any specific issues you wish to address with your teeth. There are toothpastes designed to whiten teeth, fight cavities, decrease sensitivity, prevent bad breath, resist gingivitis, and those specific to children (with lower fluoride content). There are also toothpastes that offer “complete” protection by combining aspects of many of the above toothpastes.
It’s recommended to get a professional cleaning at least two times per year.
  • Desensitizing toothpaste numbs the nerves in the teeth that can cause discomfort.
  • Mouth guard can protect against grinding teeth during sleep.
  • Fluoride treatment can be applied by dentists to sensitive areas to numb teeth and strengthen enamel.
  • Root canal can treat problems in a tooth’s core.
  • Surgical gum graft where a piece of gum tissue is removed from a section of the mouth to cover an exposed root.
Not everyone needs to have their wisdom teeth removed, but there are certain signs that can help you and your doctor determine if yours should be:
  • Wisdom teeth are pushing other teeth around, causing pain and misalignment
  • Cysts form around newly emerged wisdom teeth, causing jaw damage
  • Gums get inflamed and swollen, causing cavities and pain
  • Doctor determine from x-rays that wisdom teeth will cause problems in the near future

Just a moment...
