Always pleasant & listens attentively to my concerns. If needed, referrals to specialists lead me to feel my health concerns are more completely addressed.

UC Davis Health-Plastic Surgery
One bad apple is all it takes to spoil the lot - I was referred by insurance and trusted in the seal of UCD. Always research first! And don't trust the seal, trust yourself.

Adeela Ansari MD, Inc
She is by far, without a doubt, the most intelligent, caring, honest, respectable physician, in which we, my husband & I., have had the pleasure of meeting. SHE is the physician that you MUST see if you are in need of an endocrinologist. My husband sees her for endocrine issues (hormones). He was being treated by his PCP, which was so WRECKLESS on the part of his primary care physician. A piece of advice, NEVER let your PCP handle any issues with your Hormones (Testosterone, Thyroid, FSH, TSH, ect ., so on & so forth..) because they simply are NOT equipt to treat, nor manage, the complex & intercrut system of 'Endocrinology'. Leave that up to a SPECIALIST! And if you're looking for the absolute BEST endocrinologist... we highly recommend Dr. ansari! The physicians Assistant, (NP, Nurse Practitioner) is just as amazing as Dr. ansari. These two women know their $h¡t. They're highly educated, very knowledgeable, &have a bedside manor that is hard to find. . If you're looking for an endocrinologist., I can assure you that Dr. Ansari, & her wonderful team, will meet, & exceed all your expectations & standards. 10/10.
Tips & Advices
A child should see his or her pediatrician frequently during the first few years. Once the child reaches age 3, parents should schedule a doctor's visit at least once per year. Before that, however, the American Academy of Pediatrics suggests parents arrange visits according to the following schedule:
  • 2 to 5 days old
  • 1 month old
  • 4 months old
  • 6 months old
  • 9 months old
  • 12 months old
  • 15 months old
  • 24 months old (2 years)
  • 30 months old (2.5 years)
No, parents should call 911, an emergency physician, or a pediatric emergency physician if a child suffers an acute illness or injuries. Doctors in these fields are more qualified than pediatricians to handle emergency situations.
A well-visit is a routine visit with a pediatrician to track a child's development, discuss medical or emotional concerns, and receive immunizations and medical advice.
Yes, pediatricians provide immunizations for infants and children up through 21 years.
No, pediatricians do not have to be board certified. They're only required to have a state license. However, certification indicates a dedication to studying pediatrics beyond the requirements.
