Kaplan, Matthew A
The office is nice and very clean. Office staff was helpful and personable. However, Dr. Kaplan has no bedside manner! I would never recommend him to anyone.

Latta, Tamika
ATTN: DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS ROBOT DOCTOR. Dr. Tamika Latta has some of the worst qualities that doctor can possess. She does NOT listen, she does NOT even make eye contact, and she profiles her patients in a demographically judgmental manner. The entire Lone Star Circle of Care establishment operates alike. During my appointment with Dr. Latta, I spent about 40% of my time with her nurse, 55% of my time waiting, and 5% of my time trying to frantically explain my extremely urgent need for medical care to Dr. Latta. Lone Star Circle of Care was carefully named when created, because the entire staff is trained to operate strictly on a circular referral basis. The doctors all claim that they are not authorized to perform simple procedures/prescribe medications that 99% of REAL doctors are able to, so they simply tell you that they won't be able to help with your situation but they can write you a referral to another Lone Star Circle of Care doctor in their exact same office (but you have to wait at least a week to see the next unhelpful doctor). I have always had excellent insurance and have never had to deal with low class doctors like the doctors in the Lone Star Circle of Care system until now. Because I have a disabling disease that hinders me from being able to stay healthy enough to have a "real" job with "upper class insurance," I now have to use BCBS Blue Advantage medicaid insurance and go to lower class, poorly rated doctors like Dr. Latta. I truly feel for anyone who is currently having to rely on medicaid because I now understand that the entire medical assistance program is a political dog and pony show that was created to quiet the underprivileged and make upper class America feel as though they are helping to take care of people who can not work for corporations with good healthcare plans. In sum, the Lone Star Circle of Care location in Round Rock, TX is an embarrassment to Texas A&M University.

New to the area, and found Dr. Tran. I really like her, as she spends time going over medical history and a thorough physical. I appreciate her willingness to let me make decisions after she gives her opinion. I like to know I am being heard. My daughters also go to dr. Tran since she is a family practitioner. It is nice for me and my kids to all go to the same dr. As well as my husband. No complaints!

Tamez, Oscar A, MD
This office is a joke! The staff here are not fully trained! The three medical assistants (one being his office administrator) none of them have EVER gone to Medical Assistant school. They are not CPR Adult/Child Certified. No one has been OSHA trained and they just recently about 6 months or so ago learned how to take Blood Pressure! Wow! This office does in-office procedures with no oxygen machine or AED machine available for emergency anywhere. Who does that? Dr. Tamez's consultant "Trisha Lutfik" seems to me to be a prejudice and thinks she's smarter than what she really is. They use people and then when they feel like they want to replace them with someone "better", they do it with no regard. Dr. Tamez is just a sales pitchman to get people to have Sinus Surgery! And FYI not everyone has sinusitis! Smh! Hope this review helps others that may end up buying into their shenanigans! This office is going NOWHERE FAST! #karma#

Boyd is a phony. He is a car saleman. He will rip you off to the best of his small minded ability. He will sell all the unecessary proiducts and services that he can get away with. He is a acharlatan and calling him a 'doctor' is a disgrace to the word an offense to real doctors. Avoid this place like the plague. Banfierld or other large vet clinincs that are not profit driven will give your wallet and your pet a better more fair chance at survival. This individual who can not in good concience call a 'man' or a 'vet' should be locked up for the larceny he commits on a daily basis. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The nurse not the doctor called me to tell me about my condition. I freaked out and went in to talk to the doctor. She told me not to worry about it because everything was going to be fine. five months later my condition has worsened she never even prescribed me medicine for this. this doctor is way to busy with her natural remedies and her weight loss products to do her job right. I have never been so upset. I will probably seek legal actions upon this doctor for malpractice!!

Scott & White Healthcare-Round Rock
Please be aware that when you go to the doctor's offices of Scott & White Health care, you will be charged by the doctor's office AS WELL as the Hospital/Facility...even if you don't even step foot into the hospital. I have since changed doctors and my fees are nowhere near what they were at Scott & White. It's crazy. Highly recommend seeking other Health Care options.
Tips & Advices
An osteopathic physician practices a comprehensive form of medicine that takes a holistic approach to a person's health. Instead of specializing in one system or set of organs, an osteopathic specialist focuses on the health of the total body. This includes evaluating environmental factors that affect a person's well-being.
Many family doctors deliver babies, especially in rural areas without a nearby OB/GYN. However, most family doctors only deliver for low-risk pregnancies and do not perform cesarean sections.
Family nurse practitioners are highly educated nurses able to provide medical care individually or with the assistance of another professional. Family nurse practitioners obtain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and then take the National Council Licensure Examination to begin working as a registered nurse. Then, they continue their education and obtain a Master of Science in Nursing. Following that, they become certified in family practice via the American Nurses Credentialing Center of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, allowing them to become certified family nurse practitioners.
Some family doctors provide immunizations while others do not. Typically, doctors who work as part of a large practice are more likely to offer vaccines in-house. Doctors in offices of one to two physicians are more likely to refer patients to a public health department or other immunization provider.
A physician's assistant is a person qualified to perform routine medical services. This individual is professionally licensed and certified, but they may not have the extensive med school education of a doctor. That said, PAs do complete almost three years of postgraduate study and more than 2,000 hours of rotations.
