We have purchased bearded dragons and a snake from here. Their animals are healthy and well taken care of. The store and cages are always clean and they have a great variety of products. The kids love to just go in there and check out the critters. The staff doesn't mind and when they are between customers they actually take the time to talk about the animals to us. Very cool! We buy allOf our lizard food from here. Great place !!!

I have to say not my favorite place to visit, but my son loves the place. The reptiles are HEALTHY, compared to most pet stores. We also stop to get our "pet" the best food in town. (best quality worms and crickets). Good, helpful customer service!

Such a cool store to visit. The people who work there love their jobs and are always happy to answer questions and show the reptiles to kids. I like taking my son here to get his reptile fix since I don't want one in the house.

Johnson Ranch Pet Spa
We take our 10 year old border collie mix here for her grooming. Johnson Ranch Pet Spa has a very calm and kind atmosphere. Our dog used to stress out every time we took her to the old groomer, but here she isn't stressed at all!

When my family went to purchase our first dragon, we had no idea what we needed. That gal working was very knowledgable and helpful. She got us all setup with what we needed and instructions on how to care for our new pet.

Best place to go if looking for more than crickets for feeders. All of the employees are knowledgeable and will answer any of your questions! Great place to purchase or adopt the reptile you want.

I've been here a few times and from what I've seen so I really like the place. It's clean and nicely displayed. They have the most beautiful snakes there.
Tips & Advices
Pets that do not get along with other animals may incur an additional fee. Some facilities have special solitary sleeping and play animals for these types of pets.
A checklist for what to bring to a pet kennel includes:
  • Vaccination records
  • A favorite toy or blanket
  • Food and feeding instructions (if the pet has dietary restrictions or is a picky eater)
  • Medication (if necessary, in its original bottle and with written instructions)
Some pet kennels have veterinarians as part of their daily staff, while others only have vets part time or on call.
Most kennels can provide basic care such as administering medications, but owners of pets with serious medical issues should choose a facility with a veterinarian on call.
Bordetella, commonly known as kennel cough, is highly contagious, and most dogs catch it at least once in their lifetimes. As such, all dogs should be vaccinated at least 7 days before boarding.
